what music you all like to listen to whilst playing MK?

Just wondering what music you all like to listen to whilst playing MK (if any)?

Obviously i dont mean while your playing story mode or something like that... more like fighting with a mate, shit like that.

My top choices are usually:

Metallica
Slayer
Megadeth
Anthrax
In Flames
Dark Tranquillity
At The Gates
Soilwork

ect.

Nothing in particular,mainly whatever's on my PS3, even when I play my PS2 I'll plug in the audio jacks for it so I cans till play the music. Most of my songs are fast paced and ready for fighting games anyway, so I just have to skip the ones taht aren't

I don't usually listen to music while playing MK because I think it throws off my concentration. I listen to the radio, sometimes. But overall, if I am playing music and video games it would be Disturbed

Sometimes I play the Mario Theme song..... I usually Play With Mokap during those times......

This. Perfect list. Heavy metal. All kinds of it. Dude you should check out Scar Symmetry if you haven't heard of them, since you like In Flames and Soilwork among other great choices. They are my favorite to listen to while beating down a buddy hah. If you check them out, ignore the new album until you hear how great the older stuff (still fairly recent) was.

That would complement the brutal beating of opponents and dismemberment of body parts quite well.

Although, I have to admit, If I was playing Trilogy I'd probably leave the music either off or down to a low roar. I like the music and sound FX in that game and brings me back to my childhood.

Yea Threshold is tight, I love Slayer. Never thought of the song in terms of MK and yea its pretty good for a fighting song theme. Makes perfect sense though since thrash metal is the some of the best fighting music hah. One of my personal favorite fighting songs that would be a cool theme is Rotten to the Core by Hellyeah. Interestingly, the intro sounds a lot like Threshold haha. Thats only one of like a millions songs though, so many songs just sound so awesome when put over some brutal fights.

the mortal kombat movie soundtrack album. movie and video game soundtracks they are epic. russain red army songs those are nice. techno rave music is teh shitz. system of a down.grin
