the only one's ive ever considered *maybe* were Johnny Cage/Sonya and Baraka/Mileena and Reptile/Khameleon ..... Sindel was influenced to be with Kahn so i wouldn't say them.... Reptile and Khameleon (although its really a matter of reproducing to save their species so I wouldn't really call them a couple.)

Well Johnny wants Sonya, but Sonya clearly wants Sheeva, who wants to break a taboo with Motaro, who wouldn't mind taking on Sindel who obviously wants Shao Kahn who will fuck anyone. ANYONE.

MK2011 kinda confirms that he's pining for her. Remember, after he became aware of her situation in MK1, he asked Raiden and Liu to come help her out. Clearly, they're aiming for something bigger than "he just hits on her alot." Now, whether Sonya likes him back...not there yet.

Liu Kang and Kitana
Pretty much the only 100% "love" in MK.

Baraka and Mileena
Speculation - cause of the "secret companion" in Mileena's MK2 ending, and also...well, Baraka freed her when Onaga took over. He didn't have to, so yeah...Also, in MK2011, Baraka suggests Mileena take over after Shao Kahn is out in the MK2 part of the story. I'm just saying - he could have suggested himself, but instead put her there. Also, in Baraka's MKA ending, he chooses Mileena to be his queen. So, I think something's there.

Sub-Zero and Sareena
There's a hint to it in MK Mythologies (the music and the "eyes meet" moment after Sareena beats Quan Chi - I think they were seriously trying to suggest something)...also, in Sareena's MKA bio, you can read into it and say that Sareena does have deeper feelings for him: she went to rescue him and then when she became a threat, she ran away "not wanting to harm him." So, it's one-sided, but I do think she wants him.
Sareena is in love with Sub-Zero, by the way, not Bi Han or Kuai Liang. She's attracted to the mantle of Sub-Zero, not the man behind the mask.

Reptile and Khameleon
Not really a romance. Just a necessity. They NEED eachother if they're gonna get the Raptor race back up.

Kira and Kobra
Look at their MKA endings...it really does seem awkward given their personalities, but it seems as though the MK creators see the potential for it. Like I said, awkward, but it looks like it could happen.

Most of it is speculation...I guess if you wanna read into it and assume so, it COULD be there.

I do agree with Jade and Rain, I think somewhere hidden under that toughness of Jade she got a soft spot for that power hungry Rain if she can sway him back over to them about Edenia's survival. With Sindel ruling Edenia, possibly with Ermac, having Princess Kitana being the next heir and having her best friend Jade and Rain commanding the Freedom Fighters. Some reason I was thinking about Tanya and Reiko.

Jax and Sonya are pretty much together in the animated series (mainly) and other mk media they show so much feelings toward each other romanticly.
and of course Liu kang and Kitana have allways show there romance.
