I'd be surprised if they kicked out Sheeva completely to be honest. Mortal Kombat is a tourney fighter now! Plus she actually lived though the game, somehow. Along with most of the baddies!

Also the poster girl is probably still Sonya.

Then its really a catfight between Mileena and Kitana.

Mileena pips it in my eyes now because a few things.
- Only prominent "Pink" character. Whereas Kitana shares blue with Sub Zero.
- All of her outfits since MK:DA have just seem a bit crap. Then Deception comes along and Mileena has her style set.
- She was a bit too goody goody in Deadly Alliance and Unchained without any real displays bad-assery that she would have been able to do.
- And yet despite the above, she never really set herself out as a pacifist, which probably would have been the best way for her to go.
- Mileena had that change of attitude in Deception which just worked. Which she has kinda lost in the new game.
- Kitana was an emotional punching bag in MK2011. Every 5 minutes it seemed someone wanted to punch her in the heart.

BTW Kitana is probably my second favourite lady of MK.

Sindel did become a badarse in MK2011 though. Bitches gotta tag team. Plus shes voice by Rouge the Bat/Ivy from Soul Calibur. Awesome.

Jade is cool, but is not the queen of MK. She is like the friend who is too cool for you. But its ok. I dont know what I'm saying.

Sheeva. I luff mai Sheeva. She is the obligatory, awkward low teir throwing character that no one likes but when you get good, because of her rarity you will keep winning. Someone on a different forum actually said that when her and Baraka were coming towards him in story mode, he actually felt a bit nervous.

Skarlet. I like Skarlet. She sounds deranged and looks focused. Along with Rain should have been in the starting roster IMHO. Taken the jobber status off Reppy, Baraka and Sheeva a bit.

Sareena is probably the only other girl to consider really. Even then its because
1) Everyone wants Sareena to actually make it into one good game.
2) She has a story.
