This sounds very cool. Unfortunately I play only on PS3 (PAL region), but I'm hoping my fellow MKO members pick up on this.

Can I take this opportunity to ask you at what upcoming offline tournies can we expect to see you play? MLG was fun, but it seriously lacked some rune traps.

I'm definitely down. Not as captain, though. I've always been more the analyst/consultant type than a leader.

Whoever does end up being captain will need to spar with all of us so s/he knows our individual strengths and weaknesses. It'll be interesting to see who's on point and who's anchor. However, with the PS3/360 divide, are we gonna have enough people?

I'm down, but i don't wanna take the place of anyone on MKO who might be better than me. I really don't know where I am on the skill level any more, really wish i had gotten in on Espio/tothearks tournament. But if not enough people see this in time I'll do it. Xboxlive tag is ticklebandit.

Also, I don't understand how online tournaments really work. Like if the guy i have to play has a terrible connection with me because of different regions or something are we just suppose to play through it?? Cause that sounds like it would be really fuckin frustrating. And what if we straight up can't get a game going, like it just disconnects every single time??

Xbox live players I know of on MKO who are likely to see this are totheark and redman. So that makes 4 of us. Of all the sites the OP listed I feel like MKO is the rag tag, grimy, thrown together, mighty ducks of the group haha. Nephrite is our coach Emilio Estevez. Emiliooooooo!!!

BTW, I have to say, Shujink dude i've fought you online before and you totally dominated my Kabal. They were VERY close matches everytime, but not once did I get a win on you. Therefore, I'm coming for my revenge!!! Haha, salty runback time!

I would join this but I'm only mildly mediorce at MK these days. Not terrible, but not fantastic either. But if you guys dont find another person for the team, then I suppose I will help out. Wouldnt want our good players missing out because we could not find a last guy. But if there is someone who wants the last spot, please take it because I'm sure you will do better than I would.

When can you guys spar? Ideally, I'd like to get a KotH going with all of us, but if that's not doable, individually works fine as well.

This sounds awesome. Also I will for sure add you dude, I don't have enough experience against good Smoke players and I would love to level mine up as well. It would be great if we could all get KOTH matches together just to see where every one is and give each other advice. I think once we get a concrete date of when this thing will happen it will be easier to schedule this.

In the mean time we should at least maybe list characters we play or are good with or are planning to use in this tournament to see how well rounded our team is. I play the following:

-A beastley Cyrax with resets and all
-A sexy Sektor
-A timid Johnny Cage that is getting rusty
-A voluptuous Smoke, have been playing him the most recently.
-A mediocre Cyber Sub
-A very shitty Ermac and slightly less shitty Jax
-An imaginary Bob Sagat

Obviously i wouldn't be using all of these characters in a tournament I just put everybody i played to help others with match experience if they want it. At this point in my mk career i have trouble juggling 4 mains and staying good with them all so I've been thinking once we get a date for this tournament i might focus on the whoever I'm best with.

Finally, should we be pming 16bit to get in on this shit? No idea if he plays online, but since there are so many good players on TYM it seems likely he wouldn't be playing for them. Maybe we could bribe him with dragon points, sexual favors, mk story facts, and more beards??




NINJA EDIT: Also I currently have no dlc because xbox live fucked my online account up when my debit card expired. For some reason this makes Rain unplayable for people that have him, so if this is gonna be a problem for anybody let me know and ill get on doing the whole call xbox live and wait around for hours and hours while Bill Gates sucks my soul out through the phone.

I play Kabal and Johnny Cage. A bit of Sub, Nightwolf, Shang, etc.. But mostly just those two.

Glad to see so much love coming from this site :) this was the first MK site I was ever a member of so its a bit of nostalgia coming back. In just a few minutes ill be posting the teams the other sites and STB have put together, can someone list off the confirmed 5 and your leader for MKO so I can add it to the list? thanks!


btw, my next tournament should be Toryuken. Then NWM4, and im trying to find a sponsor to send me to MLG but I dont think its gonna happen lol im too inconsistant
