Try to chain his special attacks to the end of his combos, that's sort of Baraka's "thing". His blade charge special is also good for people tryin to jump in at you from mid range and his chop chop comes out fast and does great damage.

Like his specials his X-Ray can be inserted into all of his target combos easily for big damage. Try doing the Tarkatan rush combo and before you do the last hit do the X-Ray instead or maybe a special.

Yell "Chop Chop Blades" until Frank stops playing.

The problem with Baraka is that he doesn't have the tools to take control of a fight. Pretty much everyone else has ways to shut him down almost completely.

He has a terrible projectile, no teleport, a bad way to cover distance, no pop ups and terrible damage output. At this time no one has found anything out for Baraka. But give it time. Fighters evolve.

Baraka is slow, his damage output is low, his projectile is slow and miss on ducking opponents, he doesn't have a teleport making it hard to approach turtles, he doesn't have an unblockable special meaning that he has zero options upon the parry glitch, he lacks a low special for mixups, no stun special, no air grab from the air or from the ground. Shit character gameplay wise, and story wise.

Yep, but right now he is helpless. I find weird though, that only he suffers from this, because he would still be the worst even without the glitch.

I'm a hardcore Baraka fan. I use him mainly as a counter fighter. Punish mistakes with blade charge. End kombos with blade charge. His best setup kombos are 1,2,1+2 then dash in and do slices or don't dash in and just blade charge. The other is away+3,1,toward+1 or you can leave the forward+1 out and it lets them vunerable for a juggle. This is also good because it hits low first. His Spark does suck. Don't use it much unless you wanna get teleport punched and the spark flies over alot of characters heads if they do a projectile at the same time. The chop chop and spin use as anti air. I do agree that he is vastly outmatched by other fighters. I wish he had a way to zone better but it makes me feel good when I kick ass with him knowing that he is subpar. I also feel obligated to use him in Mortal Kombats because i wear a Baraka tatoo on my arm!!!

I don't think Baraka needs to be able to zone, too many characters are capable of zoning as is. Just make his up-close game something to be feared, or give him some tricks if he doesn't already have some.
