that's not a terrible nerf. You can do his JPS B1 1 4 xx TK Slam, which is essentially the same type of combo you described above. High intro. It's even better because you can get hit confirmation off of it and it does higher damage.
Interesting. I'll have to tell my brother that, since he was a fiend with Ermac before the patch but now isn't as good, because the combo I outlined above was his bread and butter against everything.
