So, I have always had these problems, but I am just now actually addressing them. The news about MK9 got me interesting in playing some MK again, but the constant problems I have online are a really downer.

Basically, I can connect to players and have successful matches, It just takes FOREVER.

Many times when I connect to a lobby, it loads up and everyone has a gray icon next to their name, as if they weren't even there. The only solution to this is to back out to the main menu and try again. If I try and just refresh the main online menu and rejoin, I get a network error. My connection strength is fine, I have tried with both wired and wireless. Could this be the result of some problem with my router? If this helps, my NAT type is 2. I had the same problems with Mortal Kombat Deception and Armageddon.
