And in this game you can practice against the machine because machines aren't like people online, alot of those people want to win and nothing else and get really cheap and desperate so they use a character with good specials, but almost only use those specials (Noob, Kitana, Stryker, Kano, and most popular of all, reptile).

i'm stunned you didnt include scorpion, smoke or raiden in that list. they DEFINE that list.

cant speak for the others, but i've come up against some pretty damn good kano and kitana players, HUGE combos i didnt know were possible with those characters. and my own reptile is pretty good too, if i do say so myself.

just trying to point out that not all of those characters are used only for spam.

A lot of people quit the match when I do that corner low kick spam. Are you sure it's not an infinite?

I don't know if this counts as thread revival, but whatever.

No, low kicking is not an infinite.

Anyways. Yes, I deal with spammers ALL THE TIME and I block whenever I'm not dashing or attacking, it's been my way of playing since MK1. I've always been a blocker, seeing as I don't want to open myself up for huge combos.

My thing is Reptile's dash may be punishable, but sometimes not with all combos. I haven't tried in a bit, but I can barely punish Reptile's spam with Smoke's D3+2 popup, which is arguably is best combo.

So yes, I can defend against Reptile's dash, but it's a bit ridiculous. I went online and tried spamming that for myself, to see if others could counter it too. Literally won 4 matches in a row, then stopped because I felt bad for spamming against people.

So it may just be me, but Reptile's dash needs a slightly bigger punishable window after block, or at least make it more obvious (other than *shake head a little*).
