After thinking about it some, I've been trying to figure out exactly how this fellow's going to fill up the entire character select screen. There are still the following characters to be added:

MK1 Johnny Cage
MK1 Rayden
MK1 Scorpion
MK1 Sub Zero
MK1 Reptile
MK1 Shang Tsung

So basically, there's six slots that I can possibly think of that can be filled, but there's eight slots total on the character select.

The only thing I could possibly think of for this is having an MK1 version of Ermac, even though he was just a highly rumored character who (I think) has never been proven.

Anyway, I'm interested to see where this goes after a few more versions.

and downloaded nothing else of that page anyway to fix this problem?

There nothing wrong with the game, the guy who made this hack made a new Jump Kick and Punch attack when you press HK or LP, you can disable the new hits buy going to the Killer Codes menu and disabling NEW HITS.

Shang Tsung Morph In MK1 Cage: B, B, D, BL

Awesome, man!

I've been keeping a giant, organized movelist of this game, and other than alphabetizing one of the Shang Tsung's character morph list, It's organized in ABC order and is much easier to navigate.

It's in a Word document. If someone has some space to stick it, then I'll gladly send it to 'em for posting up.

I haven't DL it yet, but I hope they start using clever ideas for running animation like the flailing frames for getting him by a teleport punch or something, it'd be hilarious.

I'm downloading it now. Stupid dial-up... it's taking forever.

Anyway, I'm thinking maybe somebody in the know should create a webpage (in English) with complete moveslists and links to the newest hacks. Or maybe the originator of this topic could edit their first post and add that information. That way people are less confused about what's going on, and/or don't have to go through so many pages to find what they need.

All this patching business is giving me a bloody headache... I downloaded the link provided for Patch #9, takes half an hour to download, and it's just a bunch of regular UMK3 ROMs, without any patches. Argh.

The game rocks though. I've got the basic patch and it totally owns MKT.

Is the version of Gens on that page different than the version that came with the first hacked UMK3 ROM?

Not Ready, just the older version of Gens could play games over 4mb(which this game is) now someone hacked a later version of Gens(2.12) to do the samething.

At first, I thought you were actually posting a new update. Then I read further and realized it was just the site you were copy-pasting. XD

Man, I'm way too eager. I'm using this UMK3+ as an equivilant to crack until Armageddon comes out. XD

Thanks for the upgrade. It is totally awesome. My main complaint with it, however, would have to be that in most backgrounds, its nearly impossible to tell what the devil Noob Saibot's doing in his finishers. Also, the creator of this hack has a totally weird sense of humor, especially with the Friendships and Animalities. But I digress; this is gold.

Anyway, has anybody been able to do Motaro's Friendship? And why don't Goro and Kintaro, out of all of the other fighters, have no Animalities?

I simply wanted to check to see if perhaps there was any more news on this awesome work in progress, mayhaps?

From what I heard from Kabal_MK, nobody is going in the last dragon box, he may remove it once he adds the remaining characters or he may even make it so it could hide your icon when selecting your character.

I was thinking that it should be MK3 Noob Saibot. Similar to his Game Gear incarnation, he'd have Kano's moves and Finishers.

At the choose your destiny screen, scroll all the way to the right and go past the second master block, you'll land on a block called "new" and fight all kanos, what's up with that? Also, the guy is in a fotress? WTF?!

you can make a mountain of 12 fighters that you what to fight in the Options Menu, that where that fifth tower comes in.

Also here is the patch for MK1 Reptile, Sub-Zero, & Scorpion, but as of right now they don't have special or finishing moves yet, only stage fatality which is Down, Forward, Forward, Block

Well that's pretty cool regardless. Glad to see we're getting three new characters!

I hope we get the morphs soon enough...and I get MSN Word back. Once I get that back, I'm gonna have a full specials/fataility list posted up here, since it's easier to have it all in one post or nearby each other in separate posts, anyway.

Or maybe I'll just put it up for download, I dunno.
