hi guys, I have been reading about building arcade cabinets for some time now, and i have decided to go ahead with the project. i will be using a computer monitor, an old packard bell computer and roms from all the sytems to play games. can anyone give me any advice or opinions about my project. I'll post pics when i'm done.

I want MK I, II, 3 and 4 cabinets...
I don't know whether this is "legal" on this board or not, but oh well...the mods can edit it or delete it or ban me or whatever, but if you're planning on running the arcade version of MK2 you're gonna need something more powerful than an old Packard-Bell. The same goes for MK (v5), MK3, and UMK3.

Yes I have a few pointers. 1) Buy an arcade joystick or a double stick if you got the cash.
2) If you can't build a proper cabinet buy one they go as cheap as 100.
3) what size is your monitor?
4) Use linux mame.
