there is no reason for him not to come back

they already gave hints at 2 possible storylines for him in mkda endings

1.he fights mavado and defends the lin kui
2.he keeps fighting frost, trying to gain her trust

and lets not forget the possibility of sektor being in mk6

so there are plenty of reasons for him to return

I recon they could alot better with his costume, it looks crap!

I don't get it, you guys say Sub-Zero was marked for death by the Lin Keui clan. I mean, the gave him the scar then gave him a 5 minute head start? Here's goes my idea about the scar. In MK2, Scorpion almost killed him but had some regret that this wasnt the older Sub-Zero that killed him. He then vowed to protect him in atone for killing his older brother. So I think that Scorpion saved Sub-Zero from the Lin Keui clan as he was given the scar. Please reply people.

It does say he was marked for death, but it doesn't mean he was physically marked. It's more like the Lin Kuei master saying, "Hunt down Sub Zero, kill him, we want him dead, make a note of that in your diary." kinda thing.
Marked for death, just means the clan want him dead, not a physical marking.

Well perhaps Sub-Zero placed the mark himself as a mark of no longer being part of the Lin Kuei.

possably, that would make the most sence. as aposed to "hey, stand still while we burn/tatoo your face so we know who we'r gona try and kill."

Yea he probabaly marked himself when he took off his mask to signify that he was no longer part of the Lin Keui, until DA that is.

Well I personally like to kick someones butt with his original costume and then if I get beat and want to make a comeback I put on his other costume and use it as an intimidation factor.

Bottom line: He had the scar at the end of MK2, BEFORE he was marked for death by the Lin Quei!!

Sub is one of the coolest characters in the MK universe. Someone said his powers couldn't stand up to Scorpions in battle? Well you can tell from the gameplay (in all games) and the text that Sub is a very powerful force.

his kori powers increase his speed and agility (Shotokan SM, slide, his ice punch)

He can make exploding ice balls, or freeze you with his breath...he can make anything with his powers.

he now has the the Dragon medallion, which takes him to the next level, in my mind it makes him nearly invincable.

if sub and scorp met now, sub would win hands down. since MK1 sub-zero has been in a league of his own.

I like Subby's 2nd costume in DA and he and Scorp are my favs, but he had poor special moves and no sword combos. Scorp has it all in DA and I think
it should be more balanced with great combos and special moves, remember MK2? that was awsome, jump

would be no other game..oh and, If they could speed up Sub Zero in 6 it would be great.
