I can assure you that it is 100% true. I used to kick everyone's butt in arcades back in '94 using Nimbus. He's in their as a glitch, like Sheeva in UMK3. They were going to use him but took him out at the very last minute, I guess.

Dude Sheeva was in UMK3. You're thinking of SuperNintendo. Home console versions seem to be a common source of misconceptions, here on the MK Classic board. Heck, maybe we should start up a "Console Differences" thread so people don't keep asking how to get a Fergality on their mk2.zip arcade ROM.

Oh wait, right... joke account... why am I arguing. WHEN I ARGUE, THEY WIN!

When something better than UMK3 comes out, I'll let you all know, because it still hasn't happened yet.

you guys suck. here I am trying to help clear up mkmyths (which is what this thread is for, right?) and you dudes tell me, and I quote, "merry christmas you fucking liar" "you are full of fucking bullshit" "you are a joke account here to intentionally piss people off, right?" and last but not least "spoilers! you are lying"

PS I was talking about the SNES when I said 'like Sheeva in UMK3'
Just make a Screenshot from this "Nimbus" or STFU you fucking Liar!!

You can host the screenshot on http://imageshack.us/index.php.

You can take the screenshot with an emulator, like snes9x or znes.
If its on the Arcade version use MAME.
The MK3 or UMK3 Rom is easy to find via google so do not dissuade from.

Just show the Screenshot if you dont, your a liar and piece of shit.
No more useless posting, just take a screenshot.

But you cant because your a fucking moron that lies, and you just want some attention because you suck.

I call you a piece of shit because people like you make 100 other people believing such a shit.

This board has a bug, I posted some long text in here but my post simply dissapeared leaving a blank site 2 lol...

Everyone knows about the Sheeva glitch in UMK3 on SNES, it is well documented, I found it the first day I had the game playing the super elimination using random select.

The Nimbus stuff is just plain lying.

Sheeva was removed from the console versions of UMK3, due to space constraints. Or at least, her sprites were removed. I believe you could access an invisible Sheeva through a glitch, since the actual code for her character was still in there (there was just no graphics to go with it).
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it went something like that.

You are precisely right. If you did the mega endurance thingy and random selected all of them, there is a good chance of one of the characters coming up as a ?

You get Sheeva, just without any graphics. You see a couple of miscolored pixels on the screen but thats it. And, she has all her regular moves and everything, just without the constraints of frame timing so everything comes out as fast as the processor can do it, meaning you can sweep like an AK can shoot. It is quite hilarious. I believe there are some crazy glitches if you ever jump over invisisheeva, like your character will jump over her and then fall down through the floor and the game freezes. I mainly remember doing Mileena's drop kick, her dropping off the bottom, then falling from the top of the screen and just falling straight down and away. Funny stuff.

Ahhhh I understand. One more question - Why did they pick Sheeva to be removed? Did they base it on fan popularity or....what?

I never heard a specific reason why they took her out, I'm surprised they didn't take out Turkey Sub and throw in all his moves with Classic Sub like they did in N64. Taking him out of there was nearly pointless as well.

Also, it's an "E" on the mega endurance not a "?" Mike but E is the only thing that will come up other than a portrait. It was obviously intentional that they put that in there since it's always Invisisheeva as well and not a random character, but all the glitches, I guess they didn't bother checking on because then we wouldn't be talking about the cool glitches you can get.
