explain why noob is sub zero yet subzero is in the game? this isn't some trilogy crap where you get to have pallet swap heaven, theres more to it. hence deception? there is more to the name than all of you care to explore. god, if it isn't your way its wrong. piss off, the whole idea is to make what you want of it, since mk charecters never die anyway. this was joked about in the opening cinema where raiden dies, shang dies, but both come back and are just like, ok were back, lets fight together now. no scar on sub zero's eye in deception. but he has it in DA. do you have a better explaination? i think noob smoke ending says it all. and if your open minded, you'll see thats just one out of several ways to look at it. im just talking in general to those who like constructive thoughts. goddamn nerds on here i swear, it's freakin sad. nothing but bitch. can't even just talk. piss off

Um, Noob-Smoke's ending in MKD makes it clear the armored Sub in MKD is the younger brother, so the scar is irrelevant.

Well that's a knuckleheaded remark if i ever saw one. Bitch is one thing, constructive criticism is another. Recognize the difference. As for us not liking you (or me specifically, you didn't say) that's also a dumb remark. People have been giving you shit simply because of the fact that you came strolling in trying to press your opinions on other people which tends to get them irrate. You own the arcade. Great. We've already established that. What relevence does that have? That was what all of the "haters" were trying to say, that most peeps don't have the arcade so we need a substitute and what we got was a poor substitute.

My advice to you son (I say that semi-sarcastically considering you sound like you're about 14-16 yrs old) is to stop taking shots at people. And stop creating threads that you know will stir people up and start wars that begin to throw flamage all over the place.

...okay, let me see if I can break down your theory logically.
According to you, the original Sub-Zero who was in MK1 and became Noob Saibot was the scarred Sub-Zero in MK3, 4, and Deadly Alliance. And the younger brother who was in MK2 has only returned now in Deception.

Okay, I'll play along.

Now, answer these questions for me:
1)How was Noob Saibot also in UMK3 and Trilogy with his own storyline and ending?
2) If the scarred Sub-Zero is the original like you claim, why was Scorpion protecting him in his ending in UMK3? If he was the original who killed Scorpion, wouldn't Scorpion be trying to kill him?
3) Explain why Sub-Zero's MK4 bio refers to his older brother's journey into the Netherealm which was in Mythologies. And don't say that was a different Sub-Zero because in Mythologies you kill Scorpion.
4) If the original Sub-Zero was in MK:DA, reforming the Lin Kuei, how was he also serving Shao Kahn as Noob Saibot and killing Goro at the same time?
5) According to your theory, the Sub-Zero in DA was the original and Frost tried to steal his medallion. Then how come in Deception, Sub-Zero who you claim is the younger brother who hasn't been seen since MK2, says in his bio Frost tried to steal "my medallion."
6) Why did Sub-Zero in DA offer to let Sareena stay with the Lin Kuei in return for her helping his older brother in the Netherealm if he was the same guy?
7) If the younger brother's been gone this whole time, where the hell has he been? And why is he only now returning? And how did he get into Outworld and how did he know about Frost?
8) What do you mean Sub-Zero didn't give a shit about Frost in DA? He trained her himself, took her with him in Outworld and if you've seen Frost's DA ending, he's obviously upset that she's dying.

Now you asked where did Sub-Zero's scar go. My guess, the Medallion healed it.


And one other note: Raiden and Shang Tsung didn't die and come back in the intro. They were knocked out and then woke up. Other than them falling on the ground, I got no other indication that Quan Chi killed them both.

No one cares about this guy's "opinions" because of how brazen he is with everything. I look at it as entertainment.

Just take the storyline for what it is, you don't have to read into everything.

i can see where he's coming from with this.we all know there is a different outcome no matter what with every differen charecter. or variations of the same ending. all mk games have been that way. and by the way, that opening movie is them dying, and coming back to life cause no one dies in mortal kombat. baraka has been killed, raiden has been killed, scorpion, hell, the whole idea is that no one dies. when you play the game, and you do a fatality on mileena, she's dead. but bam, there she is again waiting to fight another day. those who die in mortal kombat don't stay dead long. c'mon any mk fan who cares would know that. whats the big deal if they get killed and just come back. it's mortal kombat. i've been playing it since 1992 in my local arcade, and have purchased my own pcb's, home versions, and pc versions, and it's been that way as far as i can remember. it's how mortal kombat is. no one really dies, cause we always see them in sequels, or in prisons, or chained somewhere, they are there. and those who might not be in one game, return in another. it's just how mk is man. ask the midway guys, they'll tell ya that thats an inside joke how raiden and tsung get killed, then just pop back up in refference to the fact that no matter how many times you do a fatality, they are always back for more. it's a silly thing, it's just mk. don't read into it to far or you'll get lost as hell with where they are going with it.
