i think he's just fine.

in fact i think mk:da reptile is the best reptile ever, i use to in actuallity hate him, but in mk:da i really started to like him.

i dont really see a need for him to be like another ninja pallette swap all over again, if you look he's wearing, to a point, ninja fatigues, should be enough, i guess the thing people want for him too look like a ninja is to have his face covered up, meh, i dont really care for that, if he returns in mk7 with a even more primal look (more like what his name says he is, a reptile), maybe... even though he'd look like a gangbanger, maybe like a rag over his "snout", kinda like how some ninja's have in some old movies, (cant remember any of those movies though), but with him having a "snout", the rag/cloth would indefinitely be sticking out somewhat.

but still in my opinion they improved reptile beyond means in mk:da, i guess i'm not really much of a fan for ninja's (=-\.

The only thing I would change about the MKDA look is to make Reptile less bulky. He's supposed to be a snake/lizard man, not a gator. But otherwise, it was about time he got his own unique look rather than being "the green pallete swap ninja".

For an example of how they got the best of both ninja and reptillian looks, check out his new MKSM design. This is probably Reptile at his best.

I think they really screwed him up because when i seen him for the first time its just like, this isn't Reptile. All of the other ones have a sort of mischievious look or feel to them. The on in DA to me just looks like a muscled up mindless iguana or something. I believe they should have at least made him look like he had an intelligance. The ninja suit on him in this game wouldn't have worked though, they would have had to change his whole reptilian appearance if they was to put that suit back on him.

I didn't really like Reptile's new look. Like the above poster I feel that it wasn't really Reptile anymore. I guess I'm just a big fan of ninjas and didn't like the direction they took with him. His rendered shot in MKSM looks prety sweet though and I think he should look similar to that if he ever returns in future MKs.

He is still better than the one in 4 - taht one was dreadfull! But you are right about alternative ninja costume, though I don't think his new long head would fit in the mask!

imo they screwed up Reptiles look in MK4. he looks horrible in that game! omg worse costume in any MK! except for i believe it was his 3rd costume that was actually pretty sweet. but his primary just sucked in MK4. just like.... well every one else.... god i hate how the chars look in that game...

anyways in MKDA i think he looks awsome! was my fav look of his. currently his MK: SM look is the best by far. but ya i really like his MKDA look. id like to see ninja looking Reptile return tho. i bet he will be in MK7 and will have his new look from MK: SM.

I could agree, Reptile in Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance was just.... different. It did not give me the initial FEEL of Reptile at all. Reptile looked entirley different and the only special move I could recognize well enough for him was his acid spit.

I prefer Reptile in MK2, but why beat around the bush, he is a Reptile dressed up in a ninja outfit, why not bring a change to his character and reveal what he really is. Besides it makes him more original, more his own character, instead of just another boring ninja.

I really like his DA form. It's a hell of a lot better than that thing in 4, and what they're doing to him in Shaolin Monks.

I liked Rep's first costume the most. He looked pretty cool in DA, though.

I hated his MK4 costume, however.

The MK4 reptil deserves to be shot instantly. he looked like a puddle of vomit.

MKDA reptile was looking less intelligent? Well, yes, he devolved to more a instinct based fighter and looked more bulky to compensate his mental loss.

I love the MK4 Reptile, I think it's probably one of the better ones :/

i was a big fan of reptile until MK:DA came out then i don't know what happen it just wasn't him anymore i guess

MKT Reptile is the best. He retains a human ninja look about him, but he reveals his lizard self when he takes off his mask during his body snack and corrosion fatalities - the best of both worlds. His fighting stance is also very primal-like.

They need to stop makeing ninjas. He was never a ninja. He just wore the same costume as some ninjas did. The beastial look is awesome and they should keep it.

Yeah I agree wit ya 100%. MK4 Reptile sucked, MKDA Reptile was ok but not as cool as his ninja look.

well the look i love best for reptile is his MKSM look. I think it suits him nicely and the render just left me speechless.

I hated his MK4 look i think the look is self explainitory and i hate his DA look even more. why is because of this simple fact....not really original. i have seen too many typical lizard looking people in games. i mean in your honest opinion whats the difference between these characters besides moves? they all look similar and i dont want to play one game and have a similar character just with different moves...i hate the primal lizard look.
I mean i get sick of seeing lizard characters in games. Soul Calibur has Lizard man who i think Reptiles look in DA greatly resembles, Tekken got freakin Gon and i think Alex is the raptor, Killer instinct had Raptor and primal rage had the raptor dude. i cant play with reptile in DA because his look makes me sick to think that MK would stray away from the lizard man feel. Anyways i love his SM look. its not too primal but not too human

I think they did mess up on reptiles costume MK:DA. They should have left him the way he was. The MK:DA was cool but Idid not feel like Iwas playing as the original reptile.

I think they screwed up reptile bad. I like his ninja form alot. I hated it when they started transforming him.They are doing a good job with him in mksm
