The first MK I ever owned was MK3 for Genesis... It's like... That was right when I switched from 8-Bit... So I was like... WOW! BLOOD!!! So realistic... Then it was like... FAtalities, such a realistic violence... It's like, I didn't know anything about MK, cause I didn't speak English back then... Yea... The memories were good... Funny, MK1 was the last MK I got... I mean before I sot to 32 and 64 bit.

oh yeah, i bought mk1 the day it was released to sega and fell in love with it... then when the dullard code came out and reptile it made it that much more fun... then the other mks hit and ive had a blast with them all...

Yeah I remeber the first time I played MK1 and my borther got his ass whooped by Goro but he beat the whole game in 1 day though but it was fun though.

I am with you on that...but do you actually remember finding Reptile in the arcade at the local theater hangout and getting your a@$ kicked because he was super fast?!!!!!

Kind of a redundant topic, but I'll give (I'm bored). I started playing MK1 in the arcades before the hype as well. I was a huge SF2 fan back then. In fact, they were side by side in the small store my mom worked at. I was there a lot. It didn't appeal to me at first (surprisingly), but the one thing that caught my eye as I was playing SF2 was Scorpion doing his spear to someone on the attract mode. I thought that was awesome. Plus it had blood, not that I'm blood crazy. It was something new. I didn't learn about Reptile until the home versions. I have yet to fight him on MAME. I can do everything fine, but the silhouette never appears.

Anyone remember the first character they ever used? I do. In MK1 in was Kano. I won 2 or 3 fight before Raiden handed me my ass. The first time I played MK2 some dude wanted to play me so I said sure. I picked Kung Lao and got my ass handed to me once again. He kinda spoiled that for me. But a few months later I was buffing the floor with everybody that played me. There was an arcade in the bowling alley down from my house. I was the men to beat, that arcade was mine. I talk alot of shit to, but I could back it up.

I'll tell ya'll one of my best memories and then I'll be quite. There was this dude Jason that would come into the arcade and swar up and down that he could beat me but he wouldn't want to play me. Well one day I talked enuff shit and got him to play me. He picked Kitana and I picked Scorpion.(this was MK2 by the way). I laid the smackdown on his ass. Double flawless. He never stood a chance. I went to do a fatality and he pressed the buttons on my side and messed it up. He walk away quite and mad. Men those were the days.

I think it was Scorpion...Then Subby....then my fav.....Raiden, for me in that order!!
