Just wondering if you remember who you picked the first time you played each new MK?

For me (I think):

MK1: Sub Zero

MK2: Reptile (Finaly got to use him, after dying to want to use him in MK1)

MK3: Sektor (that's a guess, I think it was him)

MKT: Goro (I thought it was awesome u could finaly play as him)

MK4: Raiden (again another guess, could have been Sub Zero)

MK:DA: Sub Zero

MK1- I'm gonna say Scorpion.
MK2- Probably Reptile.
MK3- I don't really remember; possible Cyrax.
UMK3- I'm gonna have to guess Reptile.
MK4- I know for a fact this was Reptile; Second was Jarek.
MKDA- I think it was Kano, or possibly Scorpion.

I will go as far as to list the locations of the Arcade versions:

MK1- Scorpion at a local laundry mat, Highlands, NJ
MK2- Shang Tsung in Atlantic City, NJ in the arcade at Trop World called Tivoli Pier, I didn't actually play MK2 in the arcade until MK3 had come out, but had seen it at many places like the local video store, Parkway rest stops, etc and played the Hell out of it on SNES during that time, and i think the first character I picked was Baraka on SNES, but in this case I wanted to see as many fatalities as possible in the arcade so I picked Shang Tsung.
MK3- Kano at Keansburg, NJ Boardwalk
UMK3- Scorpion at the Freehold Mall in Freehold, NJ, the first time ever playing it, going undefeated against all the locals, a truly awesome experience for a 14 year old.
MKT- I wanna say MK2 Kung Lao, but it might have been Raiden
MK4- Raiden at some creepy dead Mall in NJ.
MKG- Proud to say I've never played it in my life.
MKDA- Scorpion

i had some weird ass dream about mk4 the other day. it was in my hometown mall and the arcade machines were just in the middle of the mall. i saw mk4 and started playing and konqrr started playing with me. konqrr had a sweet pony tail and we just played. nothing of the dream made sense though.

anywho, if memory serves me correctly:

MK4-Ah ha!!! I only remember this coz I played it for
the first time only a few weeks ago! Raiden!!

MK:DA- first time I played this it was a demo and only
Kenshi, Li Mei and Scorpion were available. I went
for Scorpion.

MK:D? I'll probably go for trusty ol' Scorpy boy again.

MK1- Kano or Raiden. Can't remember which.

MK2- Johnny Cage. My favourite fighter from MK1.

MK3- God knows. One of the newbies most likely.

UMK3- Kitana. Another favourite brought back.

MKT- Johnny Cage. Again, my favourite character.

MK4- Jarek. It was the version before Cage, Jax and Reiko were added.

MKG- No idea. Most likely Cage or Kitana.

MKDA- Mavado. Glad I did, he's become my favourite along with Johnny.
