When you think about it, if it's a port of UMK3 how can they well use the touch screen unless for specials and mini games, they could make the graphics a little 3-D looking and maybe even use the screen for more than specials, although, I do look forward to seeing how the mini games look. What do you think will this game be good or bad?

I dunno man,i think the touch screen will ruin UMK3 if they make you use it to pull off moves.I say leave it be,why change the controls just cause of the system? It will be better then MKAdvance for sure. But other then that i dunno.I am gonna probably buy a DS for this though.

I don't know, I'm buying it. I hope it's better than MK Advance, but, if not, then I guess that's another $40 down the shitter!

But Its Going to Be 30 bucks....
anyway I think it will be Good. The only thing they would probably do Is to do a fatality or something like it... or the Character screen

Yeah, $30 for you, $40 for me, cause of the exchange.
The only way I think they can pull off using the touch screen as in the fighting is if they put up the arcade buttons on there, so that it can be played like it was originally. As far as how good the game will turn out, I think if they spend enough time on it and actually try to make it right, then yeah it will be good. Hopefully, the online play will work just as good as normal gameplay. The only thing I am actually worried about is if it turns out like the piss-poor job that was MK Advance. That game wasn't worth a penny.

What i think is that
UMK will be a Remake of the Snes port of umk3 with Puzzle Kombat

Unless they have something uber-cool (NOT Puzzle Kombat, thank you very much), I'm pretty much going to pass on Ultimate Mortal Kombat.
At the very least, I hope characters like Ermac, Human Smoke, and Sub-Zero I are able to utilize all of their finishing moves. Then again, look at Unchained....

I'd rather Trilogy. But meh, I'll buy it. Just for the sake of playing MK on the go.

Don't worry man it'll rock!!
To the dude who made this thread, read the newest update that I gave MKO above ^^ it's nothing but good news and no you won't be using the styles for those of you worried, MAYBE in the puzzle mode but they didn't even mention it for even that mode.
UMK3 will be used standard style with the D-pad and mapped buttons so rest assured.

Yes, it is an alright port, but I find it to be a cheap bastard at times! Playing Puzzle Kombat, I had it set to easy, made it to the last character, and couldn't beat the fucker no matter how hard i tried. It's like the computer's programed to be cheap when you make it that far! But I won't let it get me down, I'll beat this fuckin' game if it takes me forever to do it!
