Not an easy question to answer. I think they're all brutal. If I have to choose, however, I pick Nitara. The way she jumps her opponent and rips his.her throat out with her teeth. Very nice...

Reptile, Raiden, Cyrax and Kenshi's are the most brutal in my opinion, but from a practical perspective, you've got to hand it to Shang Tsung.

It'd be bad enough to be killed in such a horrific manner, but having your eternal soul subsequently imprisoned within a megalomaniacal sorcerer would be enough to make anyone positively cranky for a good decade or so.

Sonya blows purple dust into your face. You start to puke.
You fall onto your hands and knees.
you start to cough up blood.
Sonya jumps up and SMASH!
Pop goes your head. the little splatter on the ground is good and the way the blood spurts out is nice.

I think that the most brutal fatality in MK:DA is Sub-Zero's

I think Cyrax's is the most brutal, the way he sucks you in and shreds you to pieces.

Scoprion: Must hurt like hell having that spear through your head while living. Then he rips your head right off!

Reptile: How much does it hurt to have acide all over you! It's like your face covered in Poison Ivy x10!

Nitara by far its 1 of the only ones that made me cringe.

i thought HSu Hao's was quite messy. the way he cuts you in half with his laser and the characters torst tries to crawl away and the intestines are hanging out and stuff. nasty.

I know im going to get flamed for this but Quan Chis is actually pretty brutal I mean when your neck gets streched all your nerves and organs are misplaced and you probably can't breath and your bleeding like hell on the inside so yeah its pretty brutal
