I believe to fight against Noob Saibot you need either 50 wins in a row, or it's just 50 matches. Don't remember, either way, try it out with the 50 wins and that will work. It's probably 50 wins in a row and has something to do with the Gold MKII symbol. Two of them being 50 wins I think, and then 10 being 250, but only 8 show, 50 for Noob, 250 for Pong. I'll try it right now.

I thought that there was a code that you could enter at the character selection screen which lets you fight noob. You also enter different codes to fight smoke and jade.

for the snes version, yeah.

Pong is 250 VS battles, not wins. You most likely reset the battle counter at some point.

Why is it that when Noob wins, the announcer says "YOU WILL DIE MORTAL, TOASTY!!"

Skizelli, I went to 251 vs battles to see if it worked, it didn't.

For Saturn, I use the cheat menu code (Down, Up, Back, A, Forward, Down, B, Y, C). You can choose a hidden character to easily go against.

The Snes you enter a code for each hidden character you want to fight at the select screen.

Yes the SNES version would glitch if you tried fighting Noob the hard way.

Wow cool pics. The only hidden character I've seen in the arcade was Jade. It must be pretty damn hard to get to Noob Saibot on the arcade.

hey Kung if u have MK3 for genesis can u get pics of the glitch rooftop stage ? or whatever it is... i remember somebody talking about it awhile back on the forums and u had to hold start on the 2nd player controller after u beat kahn ? pics plz ???

1) It's either a MAME bug, or 2) you used some kind of cheat that somehow screwed something up. That's my guess. Were you playing any version below 3.1? If my memory serves me, I think Pong wasn't added until 3.1, along with Tsung's Kintaro fatality, the Dead Pool fatality, Noob Saibot, etc.

Skizelli, I was playing on that version, I don't know why it didn't work.

And for the Genesis MK3 bonus stage, I think it's just the Bank's background with a missing layer, as you hear the Bank's Finish Him music playing the whole time, and you can uppercut them through the nonexistant ceiling, here's what happens when you do just that:




And here's a little bonus glitch. Do Kabal's Animality in UMK3 for Genesis without doing a Mercy and his head pop's off. DreemerNJ found this a while back and I have only seen one website with it documented.

i dont quite remember how to fight smoke in mkII, please tell me if im right, on the portal dont you hold down and start when the toasty comes up?

Hahaha..what is it with Kabal's Animality without the mercy? That's two glitches now that happen in two different versions.
