Those are stills from shooting the motion capture on MK3. The reason that guy is blue was that was a neutral color to pallette swap.

This only proves that someone found some stills from one of the MANY videos for MK3's production process.

Forgive me if my judgement is a little hazy, but that Cybersuit is different from the one in MK3. I don't recall the helmet being that big, or the loincloth that wide.

MK3 was filmed against blue-screen though, not green-screen and I don't think they had widescreen monitors either.

correct. I remember red subbie and for cyborgs/ninjas for pallet swaps as well. also there was no green screen... can't recall if it was blue or an other colour.

anyway, it is a proof that something was (is) going on reg. a hd version of the game incl. new graphics.

The HD remakes was worked on but later cancelled. The collection we are getting are arcade ports.

Same shit happened here that happened with SFIIHDR, to my understanding: Backbone made promises they couldn`t deliver.

Last I heard, it was still failing submission, still full of problems, even after scrapping the entirety of the HD features.

Used to be I was salivating over everything I heard about this game. Now I barely even think about it.

they also gonna mocap all the animations again..... i just hope they come as good as they used to be, and don ́t fuck up the original stances/movements/specials by trying some new animations performed by the game developers them self.
