Why would they do that when they can just say it and have people believe it?

The only explanation I can think is that Ed Boon gave the producer a hell of a lot of cash. And then they got these two rent a reveiwers to make the statement. But seriously, I haven't seen any reason they have given.

Much as I love MKDA, there is no way it is the best fighting game, and no way that the MK series plays better than many other beat em up franchises. This blind faith and unwillingness to admit faults some MK fans have is probably why non MK fans tend to laugh at us on other beat em up discussion boards.

Yeah i must say MK is the best fighting Series period.

The only magazine/tv person/people that I will take seriously is Jason Wilson from Tips & Tricks magazine...he acually plays fighting games seriously.

I will have to find his articles. I don't think I have ever found any media provided by an actual fighting game fan. I can't wait to see what sorta stuff is said.

Deception was a huge dissipointment. DA wasnt that great. 4 was good. Trilogy was great. 3 rocked. 2 was Exelent. 1 was freakin awesome. BUT it all pales in comparison to the street Fighter series.

I would accept Trilogy as best Fight, but not DA.
that AOTS was a travesty to anyone who calls themselves gamers (or even fighting gamers).

MK hardly pales compared to SF series,wheres SF now????????UUUMMMMM dead!!!!!!!!MK is not,MK 4 was crap compared to Deception or DA.

I doubt many tournaments have happened in the past 12 years without street fighter being represented. And I doubt many other games can get the crowd on its feet (e.g. Daigo) like Street Fighter can. I prefer MK, but Street Fighter has always been a dominant 2D fighter.

I just watched the Daigo Vs Wong match full parry to counter like 15 times yesterday for the first time in a while.

There's match the Prophet showed me where Hugo messes up a Chun Cheese, and he parries about half her super and then interrupts it with a Gigas Breaker. Truly awesome to see.

For all of you who aren't aware of SF3, Hugo should never beat Chun Li.
