Scorpion had a fatality that raises a hand from hell in MKT, but in MK4 Quan Chi has gained the ability for his fatality, now Shinnok has it as a special move for MKA.

Which kombatant should have "hand from hell" and should be a special move or a fatality?

I think Scorpion should have it as fatality.

I think that kind of attack suits the fallen elder god better. It looks like he summons the hand from the Netherealm, which was the place of his residence.

Besides, Scorpion originally had the Scorpion Pack Fatality in UMK3, which was later changed to the hand one in MKT.

I didn't play UMK3 that much, so I would't remember.

Scorpion had the scorpion pack fatality in MKT for N64 as well.

Personally, I hate the hand fatality. I didn't like it at all in MKT. The scorpion pack was better. But, the scorpion pack was also one of those really thrown together fatalities and since Scorpion is such a favorite they probably wanted to redo that one to make Scorpion seem more complete.

I like it as something Shinnok can do though.

Like dreemernj said, Scorpion has this fatality in MKT for N64 as well. And to be more precise, he has 3 fatalities in that version.
But that's actually irrelevant here, because my point was that the Hand From Hell Fatality wasn't even Scorpion's original one.

just for the record, Shinnok had the skeleton hands in MK4, not Quan Chi, both of Shinnok's fatalities had the hands from hell, but that doesn't make you incorrect because if you perform Quan Chi's second fatality against Shinnok Quan Chi will use one of Shinnok's hands from hell Fatalities

I've already told you that he has 3 fatalities in MKT for N64. And the Scorpion Pack is the third one.

I thought it was Quan Chi, but I could be wrong. If I am, then sorry for the mistake. Quan Chi is eliminated, Scorpion or Shinnok?

Yeah... Scorpion is a great, and clearly powerful warrior, but summoning things from the Netherrealm really should be a bit beyond him.
That's far more fitting for Shinnok -- the guy who conquered the Netherrealm!

I agree with Mick-Lucifer. Summoning things from the Netherealm really doesn't fit Scorpion well. (Though he does have that Summon Hellfire move) However, Shinnok being a fallen Elder God would constitute him possessing great mystical power. And even after being banished to the Netherealm and eventually conquering it, Shinnok's powers grew stronger and was able to summon things from that realm at will. Scorpion is just an undead warrior that was cast into the Netherealm upon his death. That's about it. He is a badass, no doubt. It's just that as far as the ability to summon something of such great power is concerned, it's beyond him.

I think shinnok should have it as a special move and scorpion have it as a fatality. Secondly I don't know if someone said this but quan chi never had that move.
Scorpion should have it as a fatality.
