sorry guys, it does exist. i have only witnessed it 1 time in my life. it was the mk2 version on the sega gen. we had the system hooked up with the sega cd. my step brother and i rented mk2. and we were wondering what would happen at the deadpool if you lost. i said "probably get knocked in the acid" about that time, the cpu finished him off and he landed right on the hook!.

this is not bullshit. 100% true. he had liu kang, and he was fighting sub-zero. this happened quite a while ago, and that was the only time i ever saw it. to this day, i wonder how the hell to to it.

nope. it wasnt a sprite freeze. cause there was blood. maybe it has something to do when you first play the game. like in umk3. when you you choos the last reward after a tournament (supreme domostration)it shows all the fatalities. when you first play it, the first time you watch the supreme demo, it shows rain doing a decap. but after that, it never shows it again. so, its possible its only a one time deal.

I've seen a picture of Kitana doing it in an old magazine. It was an old MK magazine, and I think she was doing it to repile. It looked so cool, and wondered if you could actually do it...

There is a hacked version of the arcade rom that you can do it in,I've read.Called something like MK2 Challenger or something like that.That picture that was posted above was the same picture I saw on the site I read that on.It was a site with info on all the arcade revisions for all Mk games up to MK4,including the hacks and pirate versions.I've seen the ROM on www.planetemu.net Other than that I don't think there is a way to do it.Maybe it's something you have a 1 in a million chance of seeing like Ermac in MK1?

And just for reference, in Mk2 was it possible in mid-battle to walk into a portal in the distance on the level with the big portal in the background and do a secret fight? My cousin insisted this happened as well.
