No walking into portals. But if you won with just LK the last match before the question mark in MK2, it showed you the portal and wrote something on the screen before letting you play a hidden character. Jade I think, but its been a bunch of years.

I have heard stories of Deadpool hang on the hook fatalities for soooo long. I guess the constant bombardment of people telling me things for the MK games that don't exist makes me very unlikely to believe them anymore. Its a shame nobody else has reproduced this besides with the hacked mk2 arcade rom.

I have seen some weird weird shit happen in video games. So, having thought it through, it seems possible that glitches can happen. In MKT for PSX, you can play as Shang Tsung long enough that it glitches and you end up permanently looking like Sub Zero. If you try to do any of Sub Zero's moves he goes into dizzy frames. If you throw your opponent, the opponent goes through the frames like Shang Tsung is throwing him, tumbles in mid air and sub goes back to Dizzy. Crazy crazy stuff can happen.

Even looking at Ermac in MK1. If you look at descriptions of how an Error Macro can run in the game, even the developers aren't sure what exact chain of events can cause it to occur because it is so unlikely.

Random, crazy shit can happen.

After reading all this I opened up my MK2 rom in a genesis emulator and started messing around with stuff and got other glitches to happen on the deadpool while executing the acid stage fatality. For instance, I once got the opponent to land on the ground and still have the splash of acid happen in teh background by doing the fatality at the last possible frame before the time runs out. I used slowdown to get the exact frame and put a timer on the screen but, there's the remote chance that that could happen on a real Genesis if the one in a million event happened.

The guy isn't saying this is some fatality that is hidden away that nobody found. I don't believe it is a fatality that was ever intended to happen. But I also don't believe Reverse sweeps were programmed into UMK3 and MKT, and I don't believe they intended for a green copy of Nitewolf to be able to stand in place and do attacks behind the Raiden tahts on screen after the transformation fatality, but thats a glitch you can get from using 1 button fatalities in UMK3 for SNES.

So, in my mind, what the hell. Glitches happen, it'd be really really funny to reproduce and I will probably take a shot at doing so. If I can't then oh well.

P.S. if I find any glitchy shit, I'll save a replay in a common emulator so people can see it for themselves, and I won't post any mention of it without proof.

not really. if you do shangs mk2 glitch (the floating skull) and then uppercut them into the deadpool, they land all crooked on the acid. sometimes they stay in the air.
