Happy Anniversary MKDA!!!!!!!
Well it's a year since MKDA was released. I can still remember purchasing the game that faithful, fatality friday night, and being totally blown away by it! Only slept about 6 in the morning! Heh! Thanks a lot, it's been a great 1 year! Hopefully there'll be more to come!
P.S. Hey, it's been a year! Still nothing on the last secret? Awwwww....man............

Heh, yeah, I got my copy on the 20th of November last year (I had it reserved)...
Happy Anniversary MKDA, this game has become a classic. It's a great game, I play it as often as I can on my freetime.. almost every week since I got it.
My hopes and expectations for MK6 are very high thanks to MKDA.

Happy (American) Anniversary!!! In Spain the game arrived 14 February (Yeah, for the day of San Valentin
), and that same day arrived at my house where I enjoyed, for my, of the best game of the saga
Hopefully that stops when it turns the second anniversary, the MK6 this on sale, or it is only question of days from his exit to the market

oh man, what a great day that was. for me personally, that was the most anticipated game of all time and it definitely didn't dissapoint. i still remember how excited i was, i had prepared a special meal for that day, had cleaned up my room really good, and then in the morning i went and got the game, which i had reserved, from Software Etc., and then i poped it in my XBox and the rest, as they say, is history. wow, what a gaming bliss that was. i loved MKDA and i still play it once in a while. it was the first game ever i wrote a FAQ for. MKDA is an awesome game, it definitely sturred more noise than any other MK game since MK2. so many tournaments were organized, heck, i even drove to other people's houses several times just to play MKDA. now, from the distance of time, i definitely think MKDA is a classic.
kudos to the MK team, u did an awesome job guys!

Hey since this thread has been given life again, does anyone know where 'eugenicz' went?

eugenicz Wrote: Yeah Eugenicz is here. The reason I started this thread was for 2 reasons: 1. That it's been a great year for MK fans 2. After a year and still nothing on that final secret thing! |

I noticed no one else has jumped in here, so I thought I may aswell. Someone will have to help me with dates, because I can't remember when it was. Either late last year, or earlier this year, during a fight night chat on IRC #mortalkombat, a bunch of the creative team was on.
It was confirmed there were originally plans for a secret corridor off the main title screen (you've probably noticed, and wondered). Time saw this idea to the cutting room floor.
It was also confirmed the last secret is the code to tell you which version of the game you have.
Sorry, it's disappointing, but at least now you know. A definitive answer from the most reliable source - the makers!
Meanwhile, I can hardly believe it's been a year. It's fantastic, I'm glad it's been so successful. As both an MK and SF in the very earliest days, this is the first game I feel deserved it.
I've always been about the characters, so I stayed with MK, but how it has succeeded so long I'll never know. MKDA to me, is the first real challenge MK has layed down. They've entered the worldwide beat 'em up arena, an thrown a massive uppercut.
Hopefully the sixth (eleventh game?) installment to the series will be even better! To bigger and better things!
