I am astounded, why are people saying that Goro is the hardest in MK4? He is so easily beaten its not funny. Just constantly run up to him and do a basic punch punch kick and roundhouse or uppercut kick combo. He'll block every once in a while, but then you just get straight back to it, he's a joke.

Shao Kahn in MK3 was the hardest ever, didn't do anything instead of his ramming shit

Jade in UMK3 was super hard. She would constantly run through my projectiles and do that nice long combo.

The only person I ever really had a problem with was Moloch from MKA... I still have problems with him to this day because I'm an offensive fighter, and fighting with him is usually a defensive battle.

Jade was a pain in UMK3 also.

Mk1- Cage, Liu Kang and Rayden.
Mk2- Kintaro is such a pain, then Jade, and Cage.
Mk3- Nightwolf, Kabal, Sonya, Striker and Kahn.
Mk3U- The Mk3 ones. Jade.
MkTril- Mk3 and Umk3 ones and Cage added.

Mk5- Defenatly Sonya, then Quan Chi.

MK2: Liu Kang, Mileena, Kitana (very fast and could throw you no matter what... also the uppercut trick didn't always work on them as it did on the rest); there was a relatively easy trick to beat Jade, Noob and Smoke though. Kintaro was a dick but could be defeated by Sub-Zero.

MK3/UMK3/MKT: Shao Kahn.

MK4/MKG: No idea.

MK:DA: Sonya, Moloch.

MK3 Shao Kahn is hardest of all.

MK1- None. Shang Tsung was too easy, Goro could be jump-kicked to death.
MK2- Shao Kahn, Kintaro
MK3/UMK3/Trilogy- Shao Kahn, Motaro
MK4- Goro
MKDA- Moloch

The hardest character(s) ive ever have had to face was the endurances in MK1 and Shao Kahn in MK2 and MK3.

I have actually found out that in Mk4, Sonya is a top tier. Her combos are the most damaging ones tahnxs to her leg grab, cartwheel kicks and air throw. She has long combos.

Kintaro was not very hard if you knew the secret to killing him. Jump over him and jump into the farthest right of the screan. Keep flipping in the air and he will teleport stomp you. Let him do it. Then, when you get up, repeatedly do low punch jabs, pinning him against the wall. He cant get out of the way and this will kill him. This may only work on the SNES version of MK2, but when I didnt feel like truly fighting him, I took the cheap way out.

It dosent work for the Mk2 arcade or Pc. Kintaro will grab U and throw U.
