if you are doing a weapon combo it is probably your weapon hitting your opponent.

i actually think i know what you are talking about. it seems like i remember something like that happening and i was saying what the crap was that also. oh well i don't remember anything else about it, but the beeping thing did trigger some kind of thought. oh well i suppose i wasn't much help huh? Yes, I use gamecube and I think it is after using a combo that ends with the enemy on the floor or hitting the wall there is a slight 'beep'.. strange..

It isn't the sound that the game makes when your opponent is in "danger", i.e. on their last small bit of health.
Other than that, never heard it.

#1: Is you television a stereo television or mono.
#2: How often does this happen if you can tell us what match this normally happens on in what stage, with which characters, with what fighting styles, and which moves.
#3: Check the bottom of you MK:DA cd to see if it is scratched, and also check you connection to your tv, vcr, ext.
4: How far have you progressed through the game. For example how many konquest mission have you completed, how many koffins have you unlocked in the krypt, how many of the endings do you have unlocked, and what are your game play statistics.

Sorry i havnet been back since my original post. But yeah it happens with all characters but I use QUAN CHI most of the time using their longest combo system(on the Highest diffuclty LEVEL). I have mk:da on x-box and my t.v is on stereo. I hear it all the time and NO the sound isnt of the opponents life bar at the end. It's happens whenever I do a the long combo or like a real powerful move. IF YOU PLAY THE GAME WITHOUT THE BACKGROUND MUSIC AND DO THE COMBOS OR A POWERFUL MOVE YOU CAN HEAR THE SOUND.

Yes I have heard this beep, its crazy. I was playing Kano on Arcade Mode and I was fighting Raiden, he did an uppercut and then BEEP. He did another move (the one where he blocks you with his fists) and then BEEP. No combo was used for me, I was thinking it was a glitch maybe...or could it be something else?

can anyone else experiment with this to help to see why it beeps...or maybe if there is a glicth that hasnt been found yet..

I doubt there is a final secret, but it wouldnt hurt if you tried hitting Down+Start when you heard the beep.

Not a bad idea, I'll try that when I hear it again but it might be hard considering the sound just comes out of nowhere and is like a 1 second thing (unlike Dan's toasty thing which was like 4 seconds long, and you had time to do it).

iam hearting it all the time man i also wonder what is thiz but i cant do aniting whit it i also hear it on practice... i remembere ed sayd that you must do button combination ... think of that

get more people to experiment, i've tried pushing down and start and just random other buttons and nothing has happened. Can you ask MIDWAY or whoever what the beep means?? But it's real interesting that there is just a random beep while you fight. I don't know.

I've heard it alot, I found it quite irritating. I have MKDA on X-box to, maybe that's the cause. Has anybody heard this on a system OTHER then X-box?

Have you guys thought maybe its a glitch!!! I mean come on people we have had Hackers,Legends and have asked MIDWAY and they said nothing than "the version code is definitely in the game" I mean there is no evidence that its actually there unless he meant on the actual disc . do you know what I advise, I advise that you people look for other games out there and when MK6 hopefully comes out then enjoy MK6 but until then if you haven't finished MK:DA then finish it to feel the MK Pride :) but if you have and mastered it then consider other games because I think the replay value in MK:DA stinks and the only thing that backs up the replay value is the krypt and I have finished the krypt in like a week(Winning all of my friends' credits ) so I suggest that you should really forget the idea of the "Final Secret". I would like to say that I am not against MK but I just think that there are more games out there and not only MK:DA.
