There are a total of 24 characters in the game. Two of them, Blaze and Mokap are unlockable. Complete all Konquest missions with everyone on the select screen in the game to earn Mokap & Blaze.
To play as Blaze, highlight Raiden on the select screen and hold DOWN+START. To play as Mokap, highlight Cyrax on the select screen and hold DOWN+START. You will hear the annoncer say their names, if done properly.
As for Moloch. You cannot activate him anywhere in the game. Unless you use a GameShark to play as him.
And last but not least, the reson why Scorpion's spear looks diffrent on the Xbox than on the PS2, is because Xbox's graphics are superior than the PlayStation's.

okay dude....tere are 24 characters in total in MKDA...
12 of which are available straight away....you have to earn koins and buy the other 9 from the krypt.....then you gotta complete each of the 21 characters konquest mode...then u unlock blaze and mokap...
blaze is selected by holding down and pressing start on raiden.
mokap is selected by holding down and pressing start on mokap.
moloch is not selectable...i dont know why, but he wont be fun to play as anyway if he was....u can play as him using a game shark but dont know the details as to how

Riiiiiiiite, it ruins the game that MOLOCH isn't selectable. Well, he isn't exactly Mr. Popularity anyway, and I wouldn't want to play as him anyway.
All the other characters are the regular fighters, and all fit in with the fighting style etc. Moloch is novelty in a way, it could be fun to play as him, but it hardly ruins the game that you can't.

If your using the PS2 version of MKDA, highlight Raiden or Mokap & hold Down+X on either one of those 2 characters.

You have completed konquest haven't you? That is the only other requirement.
What you bought was Mokap's storyline, not the actual character himself. You must complete the konquest mode with ALL characters selectable from the selection screen, including ones unlocked in koffins. Thats the only requirement, and then Blaze and Mokap are selectable, and you select them each by the above methods.

Ahh... a newbie in distress... lets see if I can help.
Gameshark. Buy it at your local wal mart in the electronics section. It is a... thing that helps you somewhat heck the game and do stuff you shouldn't be able to do normally. It's quite fun... I wish I had one.
There are 24 characters, as mentioned above, and there is no monk character.
Blaze and Mokap can only, and that means ONLY, be playable after you have finished Konquest and you must have bought Raiden and Cyrax in the Krypt. There is no alternate way except maybe for the gasmeshark. That is it.
Any other questions newbie who seems to like to make posts that are very hard to understand?

'Moloch aren't selectable unlockable' because it's MK tradition that the sub bosses aren't selectable, and besides, he probably would be no fun to play. Maybe the MK Team wanted to make him selectable, but they probably didn't have the time.

Ok, now this is where you drop that shitty attitude of yours. What's with you striking at Midway from every corner of your mouth because of how MKDA turned out? It gets really annoying to those of us who aren't stupid assholes and know that the mk team screwed up because they didn't have enough time. Who am I kidding, they didn't even ''screw up'' anything. MKDA kicks ass, and it's an awsome fighting game. Sure it isn't perfect, but I'd like to see you try to make the perfect fighting game.
Besides, the only part where they actually 'lied' to us was about the visible body damage. Which isn't really such a big deal, anyway.
MKDA won tons of awards and recieved excellent ratings in most video game magazines and websites. If not all video game magazines and websites. Maybe if you would just shut up and start apreciating what you got instead of whining every time you get the chance, you would realize what a kickass game MKDA is, and why it got all those awards and good ratings.
Jesus Christ.
