most of the matches ive seen that have been recorded aint that good. they play way to defensive and push block more than anything. im an aggressive player and was thinkin of making my own videos just to show some people how i get down on MK.

dont get me wrong im not puttin yalls style of playing down but yall would have a serious hard time hangin with me in mortal kombat. i know it sounds like im braggin but i aint.

If I don't have the presence of mind to hold back, then I deserve to be thrown. Technically it requires more effort to block a sweep than it does to block a throw (but neither move is "cheap").

Y'all need to stop runnin'. That's a cheap way to move around the screen.

Smoke vs Smoke is nothing special , reptile vs sindel is better , and anyway its too much blocking
i think those VS videos must been recorded with some screenplay or something to make it looks real nice and interesting

Yes there are good moments, like him and me abusing teleport punches in the air as well as at the ground to avoid being trapped in some runjabbing...and at the last round he tries to spear me but I teleport behind him right before that, and with 108 ms I can tell your people it’s hard to be fast enough.

What you say here is a bit silly, because if you don’t block against players like thrower, you’re dead. I guess you haven’t played him yet...

In all honesty you got lucky against thrower, both matches. Where are the rest of the matches you won?

yes but those videos should showed nice matches in MK but when i play with good player all rounds are started with block , then you wait for error of your opponent and attack him when he dont have control on his character or miss some hit... thats why i think those matches should have some screenplay or something. In many fighting games every move has a counter ,in MK is jumping - uppercut , running - ducking hits or jabs , but in practice its hard to do it , if you are really good you can win without blocking and you need to block only when hes attacks you , i played with some players against human smoke and almost ALL jump kicks and jump hands are ending to teleport punch , so i laugh everytime when i see it and push block , then uppercut or special move... they played like cpu AI Many guys played as human smoke or kabal. when you win as kabal then they choose him in the next fight... woah revenge. many players played with the same methods and tactics. when i can play against you or him ?

bbwwdd, when you say "if you are really good you can win without blocking and you need to block only when hes attacks you ", you're wrong in my opinion since we can't always predict when the opponent will attack...and some attacks are really fast (like the teleport punches).
if one can win without blocking, it just means that he plays with a newbie or at least a bad player...by the way I will post soon some matches I have won against a lot of players by using just the low and high kick buttons...
but I can tell you a little story, I have met that "moe30" guy sinala was talking about on dark addictz, (2/3 for me, 95ms for me, 25ms for him), he has a very defensive way of playing but he is good, and when he attacks you , he does it by abusing sweeps.
I mean , to be defensive allow you to take less risks, and it's especially useful when you play against players who are able to use any errors you do and punish you from the half of your life (like thrower). and that's probably why some very good players are defensive(of course there are exceptions like LUBU, thrower ...)
but don't get me wrong, there are moments where you NEED to attack...I just see defensive and agressive players with the same eye until we have done 4/5 matches.

"many guys play as human smoke or kabal", yes I agree with you...but it's simply because they are the two best characters of the game, but these players will miss a lot of interesting stuff with the others characters.

Heres some story...
Long time ago when i played on MK1 with 7 or 8 year old kid i tought that im good and nobody can beat me , that was so lame and stupid... and then this little kid WON cause i was so sure that i win all rounds... after this match i never think about myself in that way... it was a big shame for me. I also think that you can learn how to beat your opponent cause he have some tactics, you can lose 10 matches in a row and then you can win 20 next matches cause you learn how he plays and you can use it against him...
