Man, this is the second time I thought I discovered some new info first. The last time was when Gamespot had posted new screenshots of the arcade version of Ultimate MK3.

First, I checked MK5 and there weren't any new updates. Then I spent something like ten minutes checking out Gamespot looking for new info. Once I discovered something new, I quickly went back to MK5 only to see the same update just posted minutes ago. UGH! haha.

Maybe one of these days I'll be the first to find some new information. You people are good though. Props!

Excellent! Now I can play the first 2 MKs in great graphics! I already have MK3 for PlayStation, so that really doesn't matter to me.

I don't know guys, is it just me or does the Mk1 conversion look a little "off"? I remember the characters being larger in relation to the screen then they are shown here... they look the size of the home console ports - but definitely better graphics then those ones.

The downsizing of the sprite sizes, I feel, has always been the achilles heal of home conversions.

So - exact port? Dunno. Discuss this. Slap me.

The MK's look arcade-perfect to me, each game looks identical to it's arcade counterpart. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the actual arcade roms were being emulated for this compilation.

They are arcade perfect. MK2KungBroken already proved this in his one topic.

Also they are being emulated from the roms.

True but Midway was responsible for the aracade releases. Nintendo used their cabinets or hardware.

If you go to klov.com you will see that Midway had some part in it since their name is on the arcade unit.

not this bs again, rare made ki, midway published it in the arcades, nintendo bought up lots o stock and thus published it for the snes and n64, like all of rares games, now ms owns rare and ki.

thats the story, like how activision published the home version of mk1, mk2, they did not own the game or make it, just did the ports and such.

as for the trailer, just wait a week or two, im sure ign and some other sits will get a copy of it like the last mkd trailers.

plus e3, more info and vids up all over the net.

as for the games, there arcade treasures, ports, or roms, they are arcade perfect, to the last bugs or errors.

no fear, no threat.
