Mk1 was probably dropped off because it is now included in the Collector's Edition/Premium pack of MKD.
It's ok for me because I already pre-ordered my premium pack but for those who can't,....

Maybe they couldn't get the sound to work correctly?

Damn, I always wanted to play the original arcade-perfect MK, and now I can't even do that because I don't have a PS2/X-Box. Why Midway, oh why did you have to do this to the GC owners?

Well, they've gone and kicked themselves in the foot now, cause I ain't buying it anymore and neither are any of my friends that were really wanting to play the original MK, they know this is just a tactic from Midway to make us buy the expensive edition of MK:deception, and they don't want to waste their money on that, so this is Midways overall loss.

They'll regret they did that, I know at least 10 people now that aren't buying MAT2.

Think of how many MK fans they are, I can imagine a nice big drop in sales now.

This is bullshit! The only reason I wanted to buy MAT is because they had all three original MKs. I'm not shelling out extra dough just to get to MK1. Now, if they add something worthwhile to the limited editions, I'll probably buy it.

I have no problem with this decision at all. I already reserved the Kollector's Edition of MKD as well as MAT2 and I'm good to go. I have all three arcade perfect versions of the first three MKs, as well as Primal Rage.

I guess this is half the reason that people get the ROM's instead of buying the game.

They pretty much promised all the MK games in one package, but now theres only going to be the two games mentioned before, so I can see why a lot of people would be mad.

Some people don't want Deception, but they want the classic MK games, but now if they want the first MK game, they'll have to actually pre-order Deception and that'll be the only way they'll actually have all three of the original MK arcade games. They just won't have those games, but they'll have a game they didn't want and some extra items they could care less about.

I planned on getting the kollectors edition anyhow, but this just makes me a little bit sad that they are doing this to their customers.

That's the way you sell something that SUCKS(MK:D) sell it with something people love (MK1) Dam midway.

I'll still get MAT2, get MAME, get the MK1 Rom. And I'll be set.

Why, oh why do you make bad buiness decisions. Whoever thought of elimating MK1 from MAT2 should be fired from the company completely. I don't care that person was valuable to the company, he/she made a very bad mistake and should be given the pink slip and tell him/her to pack their bags. I was getting ready to have a little bit of fun with MK1, ripping off heads, spines. Kick some ass with Sonya, but i'm afriad thats not possible.

They made a mistake and they will face the consquences. That's how life goes.
