To be frightfully honest with you, and with every ticked off MK fan out there anout this decision. Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance realy upset a lot of MK fans that loved the old style, which was different. They miss the HP, LP, HK, LK, BLK, and RN. When MKDA was released, a lot of my friends who love the MK series, and believe me it was my entire college dorm building. 15 floors, and 30 rooms per floor with about two tennants per room. I took a poll, and they all hated MKDA. That's a lot of people. Talking with the gametrader places, a lot of them received MKDA back just under only a week later of releasing. People were trading it in because they flat out hated the new style. Back to the "real" reason why MK1 in my own opinion was placed with the Special Edition MKD. Midway possibly does get facts, and stats from various game places. When they got the stats on MKDA coming back under a week of being bought a lot, they got frightened. They decided to drop MK1 from MAT2 and package it with MKD in a SE to hopefully not only boost sales of the new game, but even get it sold. If MKD is anything in gameplay like MKDA, I know a lot of people here in my state that will buy it just to get MK1, and then get rid of it. Another reason why MK1 was dropped from MAT2, and this is probably the real reason. Say you buy MKD SE, and MAT2. MK1 was still available in MAT2 you would wind up with two MK1's right? Right. Anyway, I'm still getting both the MKDSE, and MAT2 to have MK1-3, and to complete my MK collection I've allready prebought all versions. Like I said: Change can be good sometimes, and in MK's case, change was bad.

I own a MK1 machine and I still think this is really lame.

If they wanted something big to add to Deception they could have added something like UMK3 or MK4. The LEAST they could do with this is add one of those to MAT2 to replace MK1. Just taking out MK1 is horrible.

Bloody hell, its already been touched upon, but firstly, I'm missing out on Deception because I only have a GC, and now I'm missing out on MK1 for the same reason!

They could have at least put MK1 on the GC version, but then I suppose that wouldn't have been seen as being 'fair' on XBox and PS2 owners.

Not that its going to make a difference to them, but Midway's lost another sale here - I'll just stick to the Mame roms...

I agree stupid midway. Well there is always that TV video game thing coming out that has MK1 on it. Hopfully for all you gamecube fans out there it's arcade perfect. Midway you guys suck!

They really should have included UMK3 instead of taking out MK1, but I'm sure they did some math here to find out the best way to make money.

What is the point of selling MAT2 on the Xbox? Since theres a neat program called Evolution X on your Xbox that has the MAMEoX on it and it just needs a mod chip. And doesn't voliate your warranty.

Well, Chibi-Ermac, how much is a mod chip? How much is the Opportunity Cost of the mod chip? How much is the program called "Evolution X?" Finally, how much is Midway Arcade Treasures 2?
People will buy a cool compilation for $20, especially if they do not have to go through the hassles of finding these mod chips and "programs."

remove MK1, there most popular classic game, from midway arcade treasures two, which contains classic games, at least i know why they lost 25 million $$$$$$ last quarter now, why not temove the other two now, the collection is already usless, no longer buying it.

Ahh, but you cannot use Xbox Live! with a mod chip. Just you try it and you will be banned from the Live! servers permanently.

So if you want to play any games online using your Xbox, it's best you think twice about that decision buddy...

Its not only the fact they've put it as an exclusive now, but also the fact that MAT2 seems incomplete in a sense. Starts off having a nice arcade trilogy in there, and now it doesn't. Bloody stupid...
