Is it me or does it seem Jarek was betrayed in mk4?

Now this may sound stuipd, but hear me out.

Now in mk4, Jarek puts his differences aside to help earthrealm. Now this is something out of the ordinary with a black dragon, because if it was kano, he wouldn't join earthrealm for 3 reasons. One is fear, he will think the neatherealm has an advangtage. Two is power, thats what kano would want and to be the winnning side. And three, he would NEVER put his differences aside. He HATES sonya and would love to kill. Jarek was not the same as the rest of the black dragon. He cared about earthrealm and dropped the prejudice.

Now when i see the sonya, Jax and jarek ending, i get pissed because for how he helps them out, sonya gives him this attitude "You all look the same to me" and tries to start something. He is treated like a tratior.

Now does anyone agree with me on this or am I missing something here? Please don't give the reason he's a black dragon as a reason. Because i don't feel thats enough for how he helped them out.

Uh, maybe Jarek wanted to help earthrealm because he cared for his family, and Kano didn't, or he probably doesn't have one?

True, but do you agree on how i feel How sonya just came up to him afterwards and treated him? Like you said, kano doesn't give a damn, but Jarek does.

I guess it is kinda messed up but then again Jarek was still the same old criminal and sonya was the same old special forces agent (cops and robbers).

Well, since Jarek is STILL a criminal, a killer, a crazy murderer, works for Kano, did I mention a killer? AND hates the SF....I guess Sonya and Jax have the right to take him to prison.

Jarek did help them, but still, he did it cause it was also something he needed. After that, (and since we saw his reaction) its obvious he was still gonna be the evil black dragon traitor he has always been.

Well... You do have a point Queve. I just really don't like the raw deal Jarek gets. Even though Sonya being a SF member, I say she still could have sligthly be lei way.

like Captain Jack Sparow was a pirate, and was going to be excuted. But because of his heroism, they gave him head start to leave. So even though Jack is still a pirate, he was totally let off the hook, but at the same time wasn't getting a traitors reward.

But you do bring up a point on jareks reactions.

Also like the old saying goes. "What comes around goes around"

He may have been caring and somewhat good in the end but he got what he deserved in the end. Karma is the big point in that story I think.

The thing about it is this: Jarek didn't know how to survive in this new world, so he had to do what he had to do to survive: he needed to join forces with his enemies, who were also confused about all this. It was not a matter of wanting to fight Shinnok; he saw it as his only hope to stay alive. It was all so he could see the next day.

He was still a criminal deep down under. He had plans of restarting the Black Dragon. Sonya had every right to try and arrest him. It was her job, and Jarek still hadn't changed.

Bottom line: they HAD to join forces to stay alive. After that, back to the same old. Sonya the cop, Jarek the criminal.

No betrayal. It was expected.

I think Kano would work with the Special Forces if he had to. He seems like the kind of guy that just does whatever it takes to stay ahead. In MK3 he worked for Kahn because Kahn accepted his help. Had Kahn said no and he got away, I think he probably would have fought for Earth. It's all about survival.

Of course he'd have tried to stab Sonya in the back after it was over though.....

I think Jarek was betrayed too, if I was him, I would've thrown Sonya off the cliff too.
