The way I see it, being a ninja has nothing to do with learning Japanese martial arts or being an assassin. It has to do with wearing a ninja mask. That's all it takes. So yes, if Jerrod puts on a ninja mask, he's a ninja.

Rikamuru from that one game that I can't seem to remember the name of at the moment didn't have a mask, neither did Ayame. aren't they ninjas? I could be a fat guy, wearing sweat pants, tank top and a ninja mask, walking to McDonald's and all of the sudden I am a ninja to you!? 1500 years of culture and 10 years of training wasted when all I could have done was wrap a friggin napkin around my face!? i personally think jerrod was a ninja. If i were the king of an empire i would learn ninjutsu to keep my self from being assinated. plus in konquest it look like he is a ninja.
