Hey, when I looked up the "Somewhere Around Nothing" song on Apocalyptica's website, it sounds considerably different...is it a different version that you're using?

The Sonya 100% in there has no special moves involved...does that give Jade and Sub-Zero a 100% combo as well?

there are specific character properties which enable Sonya to do that combo, her recovery speed, running speed, collision boxes, RH speed, etc, all are factors. Sub and Jade simply cannot do the same thing.

11Shock!! I watched again all your UMK3 videos (for 50 time i think) and i suggest you to make a "Greatest Hits" video.
U'll include only the baddass combos and glitches(Hey all of the combos are baddass but u'll include only the coolest of the coolest if u know what i mean).(btw why i dont see Kabal's suicide aniwere ?!?!)

And finnaly u gotta include every single character from UMK3-MK Trilogy if u make that kind of video.
I'll throw an idea for how it would be kool to start that video(IMO).
There will be the select screen of MK TRILOGY but reamked one with all the characters including Human Smoke Chameleon Khameleon,MK1 Kano Rayden,Mk2 Kung Jax all on the select screen at the same time.When the video stars it will show the select screen that i describe and it will choose a random character for example Kintaro...
Then a profile will load it will show bigger picture of him, a story who he is ,a quick presentation of his growling and brutal person, then it will start to show his combos and then it would be kool if he make his MK2 fatality (3rd Fatality of Shang).
And so on with all the others... I think its worth it and eventually u'll make another kool Umk3 video (with kooler muzik hopefully) (all pray its not apocaliptica).

I just realized I only gave a rating for this vid to MK2KB, though dreemer and ded_ were resposible for it also. So I rated the last posts you guys made in this thread...

First and foremost you need the combos.

Then you need the ability to capture the video in a good way. MK2KB uses Camtasia to capture video of the game as it is playing on his computer. (You get the game to where you want it with it playing in a window, pause, go to Camtasia tell it to start recording the area of the game's window, set it going, and go back to the game and start doing the combos and recording them).

Then you load all the clips into a video editting program. There are a lot of different ones but most of them cost a bunch of money and they tend to suck really.

The opening and different parts of the video were created by a very talented person (Battousai) who used Adobe After Effects. You should check out her Xmen COTA vol 2 combo video on combovideos.com to see how crazy combo video editting and creation gets.

Then, publish it in a form many people can download and watch and find a place that can host it :)

Very good Video, I like the Video editing really, with that rotating cube that change after each combo, that was very nice!

The Black/White replay of old stuff was a good idea too!
The video has nearly the quality of some professional Counter Strike Frag movie.

Maybe you can make sometime a "best of movie" with some long intro and outro and stuff like that, maybe even mixed with MK 1&2 Stuff.

By the way, I cant wait for the MK1 Combo video, hurry up with that ! =)

I don't know if there are listings of these combos before but I was wondering if you could list the combos for UMK3 and MKT. Like what we've been doing for MK: D.

If you mean a transcript, I haven't gotten around to it yet, but I have a transcript for all the other combos in all the other videos.

I updated the video upon request of several people for various things. I added 3 100%s, changed Sonya's Sektor 100% slightly to involve a special move, changed a number of the memory lane clips because they were to lack luster for the Prophet's taste, and it is now slightly better quality, 38 megs as opposed to 32 or whatever it was.

Did I see a Jade 100% / inf. vs Sektor in there ?

If so, is that it now? Does every playable UMK3 character have an unblockable death combo in one form or another?

The Sub combo in it is blockable at the the frame the slide connects, however I think it is quite possible to get it unblockable based on frame data, just didn't bother cause I am getting tired of putting the files back onto my comp and vice versa, a combo corrupted as well so I had to rerecord, thank goodness it was only the Sheeva 69%.

Anyway, yeah, right now it's looking like everyone has a legit 100% in some form or another.

The practive is only per combo, and I don't know why they won't play with WMP, they are supposed to.
