no I never got around to recording one, I would need to do a Sektor missile only combo for him though. Everyone in PSXGHMKT has 100%s though, except maybe Shao Kahn and Motaro.

I dunno, PC version is not a legit version anyway. I don't know if Kahn can inf anyone in PSX but it's easy on anyone in the buggy version.

I thought were done around the 5th one, but squeezed out 3 more, I highly doubt there will be another. We've only made about 2 or 3 combos since the last video that are even remotely unique, so it's not happening, we had a lot more last time by this point.

I didn't read any of that. Last time we played, I OWNED you because I had very little lag compared to what I normally do against you, I still had SOME lag, some button loss, some delay, but not nearly as bad as usual, and yet magically, your tactics were only about 1/4 as effective. Just imagine if we played at an arcade, on sticks which apparently you are incapable of using. That is the game's intended format is it not?

I believe the matches you won were two as Liu Kang vs Cyrax, due to complete randomness and desperation, once as Human Smoke vs Jax (a character I rarely use) once in Jade vs Jade but I was IMed several times in that match if you want to count it, I had to turn off AIM at that point, and then I stuck around for one more match, Sub vs Sub, which was a complete joke test match to see if you were still trying, and you were.

Don't give me any of this "I have 109 ms you have 17 ms" garbage because YOUR ping has NOTHING to do with how YOU play. If you played me in person you would try the exact same things you do online because that's how you play. The tactics you use are the exact same tactics that work against most casual arcade players, and the only reason they work online is due to counter timing.

You're a counter player and that is all you will ever be. I randomed the whole night, and when you couldn't win you went with 2 Kung Laos, and lost, or against other people, your controller has a Human Smoke magnet. You didn't win a single 2 on 2 match we played. I had 6 wins in a row at one point as a matter of fact in mixed 1 on 1s and 2 on 2s(which you wanted to play for a change because I bet you thought you could win somehow). In fact, in one of the 2 on 2s I was Shang and beat both your characters without taking much damage, and the next round as Jax was the exact same thing, a couple other times when my second character came in I beat your remaining character with a single hit.

I also found it funny how you abused teleport uppercuts with Sektor, and usually with the tremendous lag I have against you I can't cancel a jab fast enough to block them when I BAIT them out of you. This time I did, and I don't know why you kept abusing them other than the single thought that you hoped I just wouldn't be able to block, which is NOT how you're supposed to play the game. You're supposed to use tactics, not luck, and when luck runs out, you lose. Luck in this instance is the probablity of guarding against blockable guesswork attacks in conditions that limit timing.

There was one match later on I was Nightwolf I believe and you were Sektor, and you again abused teleport uppercuts in completely blockable situations, you hit two for free, I blocked 2, and dodged 2, and still won the match. In a real match I would have just blocked them all and countered and you would have lost much sooner than you did.

Most of what you do is turtle, walk forward, jump back, run in a bit, jump forward and pray your jump kick isn't countered. When the counter is fouled up by netplay, you take advantage of what you think is player error and rush down for free, when in reality you should have been countered to begin with, completely throwing off the results of the match which should be an easy win in favor of the other player, but instead, the match is extremely tight and back and forth due to constant lucky lag attacks. Most of the people you play do not try and play the game as if they were playing it online at all.

It is no coincidence that the tactics you use coincide with netplay factors because they are effective against players with, gasp, slower overall reaction to gameplay elements. Physiologically it is merely fractions of a second, but it is enough to mess up counters in quick thinking situations. You have the timing down to counter moves like a slide that is point blank and punish with a combo at 109 ms, yet I can't do this for the life of me online with 17ms. You simply don't create critical points in your favor and netplay makes them for you in the most abnormal situations.

It amazes me when you do that kind of thing, yet you can't max out a Human Smoke combo, which after the first hit is all memorization and almost zero timing.

Why do I know you're still just a casual player? Go back and read that. All your answers are there and irrefutable.

so here is the whole and correct story :
I was walking from servers to servers and entered in that american server almost by chance and have met you there. You have asked me "hey nafa let's do some matches just to test the speed of your computer", but when you win you declare : "I'm better than you" and when you lose (during the previous set of matches) you say : "your computer is too slow" , well I don't want to disappoint you but I got the same computer from the start, so you just were trying to justify your losses that night ...
By the way congratulations for having beaten a chained-hands and covered-eyes man there, you indeed have trapped me there, where I can't do anything and you triumphally claim to some other people after of course having win more matches than me: "I have beaten Nafa".
Both funny and irritating. Funny because it means you don't know how netplay works, irritating because you seem too stupid to realize EVERY match you won was due to my HUGE delay that prevented me from doing my Lao's infinite, all my corner combos until the end, escape your cheap runjabbings..etc....I also remember when I was hitting the LK button in a jump, my character eventually began his kick move at the landing...useless to say which kind of result that crap brings.
anyway I don't forget all our other matches, like the night when we have talked with Divine, you were completely owned during these matches, so at the end your current opinion seems to me a bit hurried.

one other thing: you were surprised to see I was however able to cancel a run with a block right? well instead of taking me for a liar and thinking "he had no delay", draw the good conclusion of that, that is : "he is fuckin fast", some other people have already told you about that besides (Ded for example) but you keep believing I don't know how to play and that delay has no effect on me.
you always separate artificially the way of playing and the speed of the reactions, but understand once for all that the severe lack of speed the delay brings to me affects the effectiveness of my way of playing, so stop your "you try the same things when you have a better ping" song.

also I hope you have noticed that night that I haven't complained about anything during our matches...indeed my purpose was to determinate 2 things : 1) I wanted to see if a reconciliation was possible 2) I wanted to check your future reaction about these matches, to see if you even could realize the delay I was bearing.
now I got 2 very valuables "no". Oh and don't forget to play with Ded too, and not just on your server of course, because you always do like you haven't heard lol

To end that mess and make things clearer I will use logic ; 2 situations are possible :
1) "the ping doesn't mean shit , like you have told me before"_
then next time let's go to an European server, bohramt or gametronik for example, I'm dying to see what you can do there, in the position I was on your server. If you're right, you should keep winning more matches than me.

2) "the ping has a real effect while playing"_
then your wins were completely helped by my handicap, so you're definitely not allowed to think you're better.

does the darktemplarz website have any other videos xept combo vids? (i aint sayin their bad) like glitch videos and finisher videos? im sorry for sayin that these kinds of things couldnt be done earlier on, after watching a few match videos, (nice matches by the way, some very close) and saw some of the combos their, they are quite impressive. if it hasn't been done/suggested already, why not use kombat kodes with the mk3 series? (i couldn't see someone doing a ranper kombat kombo, but its a cool idea)

I believe some relatively simple randper kombat combos were done in MK Kompletions.

We don't use kombat codes because that would alter the game and the combos become silly.

The sticks at the Break the other night were pretty loose, it was a lot like playing back at ECC9 when it was nearly impossible to do harpoons, etc even in combos. I tried Reptile combos but I just couldn't get the back forwards to come out so many times I would do HP, HP (cancel) and just stand there. I'm going to hook up my PSX stick tonight and start practicing on it to get some stick use before NEC6 in a couple months, and hopefully the custom UMK3 stick will get ordered soon and we'll have two. The reason why we don't use kombat codes is because it's not legit. If we wanted we could turn off combo laws altogether with MAME cheats and make the dumbest combo video ever.
