OK you did mean what I thought, I was just trying to clear it up. We are simply displaying infinites, and pseudo infinites that are possible in the game, much like people do in Capcom games for example It is possible for Stryker to send them to one side of the screen, then start his other real infinite, and or send them over the other direction and continue the original infinite. In theory, with the right spacing and timing, Stryker has an inner and outer loop infinite, almost like War Machine/Iron Man.
HP, HP, gun, baton dash whiff, repeat to wall, JK, HP, gun, repeat to your liking, over jump to the wall with a cross up jump kick, HP,HP gun, and keep the crazy train rolling. It's not exactly as easy as it looks, however, it's one of the easier infinites in the game, I usually at least get them to the wall and finish it off with something or at least attempt the corner inf. The damage is usually great enough to not even need to do the inf depending where you start from.

Yeah, I don't mind infinites provided they are not basic repetitions like that. Although it is not easy, I still think that the ability to mix and match moves and combos is a fine art to be mastered.
I saw some brilliant combos in those videos, and although I don't play the older MK's anymore on the basis of my Saturn being royally screwed, they are still good examples of how these games should be played.
Will you guys be doing anything for MK:DA & MK:D? I know konqrr did some for MK:DA, but they're no longer avaliable.

I'm definitely not going to even bother with MKDA and MKD unless they make some drastic last minute changes to D.

Hey MK2KungBroken have you found it hard to do the volleyball combo on shorter people it seems like it only works for the tall fighters like the robots sheeva rayden and sometimes sonya have you ever got it on jade or kano.It doesnt seem to work on some fighters like when you jump up you go through them unstead of being under there legs.Have you notice this.

Human Smoke Kano and Ermac can volley everyone, Sub-zero and Sonya can volley the next most, then I think Kabal, and it dwindles from there. Sindel female Ninjas and Stryker cannot be volleyed by anyone but Ermac Kano and Smoke I believe.

No wonder I couldn't volley my brother when I was Kabal and he was Stryker.
Anyway, why is it like this Matt? Is it the size of the characters or did Midway actually decide to make Smoke and Ermac very cheap?

It was entirely chance. I don't think they realized the relaunch infinites by the time they made the final release, and Smoke and Ermac happen to recover very quickly and send the characters at the perfect hyperbola, Sub's and Kabal's are perfect in the respect that you just hold Up+forward so there's no timing to the jump forward half of the whole timing, but this allows for less vulnerable characters.

He has a pop-up combo. It's Hp, Hp, Back+LP, Down to Forward+LP. It's a nice combo to start a massive combo as well.

I wouldn't use the 4 hit pop up ever, use his HK, LP pop up because he recovers faster on it, it's not worth it since the damage is so low on the 4 hit. If you do something routine like:
HP, HP, D+LP, D-F LP, tks, HP, HP, HP, HK, it's 8 hits 35% (more like 37% because the tks hits don't count)
Or if you're a little more skilled, you can get:
HP, HP, D+LP, D-F LP, tks, off the ground link to-HK, LP, HP, HP, fireball, which is 9 hits 39%.
But HK, LP, JK, teleport punch, tks, HP,HP, HP, HK, is 8 hits 43% (again a little higher cause of the tks not counting as part of the combo) so it's better opt for that. HK LP also is easier to get relaunch combos with, I think he can only relaunch Robots and Sheeva with the 4 hit.

Cool thanks man.Off subject now mk2kungbroken im sorry to bug you about this but nobody will give me a answer i wonder if you know.Do you use mame? and do you know how to use the cheat files i downloaded it and i dont know where to put them people say to put them in the mame directory but where do i put it under roms, samples ect.Iwant to use cheats for umk3 do you know a certain cheat file thats the right one for the game sorry to bug you about this but i wonder if you know.

You have to put cheat.dat in the same folder as the mame32k.exe, and then, in the game list, right click the game and click properties, then the miscellanous tab, and click enable cheats, you might want to go to Options, and Default Game Options, and do it there so you enable cheats for all games. The newest cheat.dat is available in mamemore82, it's got a lot more/updated cheats.

Yeah if anyone has combos they would like to see in it, please PM them to me, in full, and I'll credit you in the video, looking for combos over 50% that haven't been seen yet in any of the previous videos of course, or combos with a high level of difficulty to perform. There's almost always an extra Reptile combo someone sends me that we overlook.

Yeah if you have anything let me know, this guy keeps emailing me with combos we've either already done, that are incomplete, or just not very good.
As for the MK2 video, Konqrr is in charge of that, but he's been very busy for months now and hasn't been able to do much. There's so many neat combos for it and it should be out soon.
