when u use the cheat menu options it does that, dont worry about it. that happens to me alot, its just a minor glitch caused by using the cheat file. it wont mess up your game.

For me the screen pallet corruption happens regardless of whether cheats are enabled or not. It's got something to do with player 1's pallet and not having any of the colors that are within the dragon symbols on the screen, but if you start with player 2, the screen is always fine. I don't get it.

i have another question: how do you save in MAME? i mean just like in Snes emus that it has a "save game position" and also u can load from there...

MK games cannot save and load state, it crashes. Else it's right shift + F7 to save and pick a number slot, and F7 to load.

i have finished d/l the mkkompletions, and all i can tell, it rocks!! even the editing was great...kudos 2 all!!!

btw, one question about the kung lao (umk3) inf/juggle, are there any launchers except for the f-d-f-rn? and i'm having difficulties to perform his juggle, coz when i jump it does perform the kick/punch but it doesn't do the kick thingy(d+k)...i've been trying this 2 days now...

yeah, that i can do...the one i can't do is the one that's not a corner combo that leads to a corner combo, the one with the suicide kick (d+HK)...it's hard as hell!!!

I am Shock, there's a huge section of clips of myself, arranged by show date. I have a lot of my stuff on tape from 98 til the present, but I am still trying to get my debut from 97 from a friend. It wasn't anything special, I'd just like to have it.

is HP, JK, whiff requires really fast timing. You have to cancel the kick on the frame it connects if order to keep them high enough to juggle across screen. Also, you cannot be holding a direction when the kick connects in air order to get the dash kick, else you'll just experience it never happening. So try, Spin, run in HP, U+F release completely, HK, D+HK, HP, U+F release completely, repeat.

Geez, Matt, how much of this did you figure out on your own, vs being passed along by others. I am guessing you have played this game so much that a lot of it you just stumbled upon yourself, and luckily remembered what you did to recreate it.

99% of what you see in the videos was created by me or DreemerNJ, and usually anything one of us creates, the other makes better. The thing is, most of the stuff I did I found in the process of making the video. About 4 years ago DreemerNJ and I planned on making an MKT video, and I'm kinda glad it got put on the back burner because of bad it probably would have been. We couldn't even break 40% with Reptile, but then we started finding these nuances here and there that were universal that just add huge damage, and everything started taking off. It was really a "free your mind" sort of thing. Granted MK combos are not as impressive looking as Capcom combos, but you have to look and UMK3 as something of a 2D Tekken 3, there is a different par when it comes to what is impressive and if you don't play the game you won't be able to fully appreciate what is going on. You have basic ground chains, and things that knock people in the air, then you can juggle based on character collision, which is close to the same for most, but dramatically different for some. I would say nothing I ever came up with before 2003 wasn't tweaked massively for the video. I had big combos for MK2 Kung Lao, Kabal, a few others, but that was about it. Now every character is capable of doing 70% or so without use of an infinite methodology.
