Well, there's a very cool thing that I've known about but never gave any thought to using before. The Record Movie option on ZSNES. Vers showed me a couple of him playing vs some people and I thought what a great thing this can be for us online players. I love to be a spectator of any and all things MK, helps me learn to be a better player. I have recorded some MK2 matches (3AM o_O) and plan on doing so as I play more with you guys. It's a cool thing because I captured like 14 matches and it zips up to be like 125K not some huge 50MB movie file. All you need is the same rom that the movie was captured on.

This will be a great thing for upcoming tournaments!

Yeah it really makes me wanna play again. Me and SubSmokeX capped about 100 matches of UMK3(literally) last night. I only won about 3, but I learned a lot, and if we play tonight I hope the outcome will be different.

On contrary to what you guys think. I consider SSX to be better in UMK3 than in MK2. We also recorded a couple matched of me vs him in that as well.

Well, just played Versatile on UMK3. He ROCKS. Those were some of the best games yet.

That's because it's not recording video. It's recording the buttons that are pressed during the course of play and when. When you play it back it uses that and plays the game itself by "pressing" those same buttons in the same order with the same timing, as if someone was actually playing it the same way you did. No video involved.

If anyone is interested, I'll be available this Friday after 4, and this Saturday, times to be determined.

When I tried to record a video with Versatile both our PCs started acting up and we had to reconnect.

Someone needs to add to their link in their signature that Versatile owns them in UMK3. Their name begins with Cor and end s with Rezzio.

Play him in mk3, he's much better in that one.

Sponge...that happened to me too, but only vs dialup people. Just make sure that you never leave the ZSNES window once you connect! If someone IM's you on AIM/MSN or whatever, quickly click back on the ZSNES window to resume control of the game. You should have any IM program on away mode while you play anyways.

Thanks for that Konqrr, and it's true. I'm to old for UMK3... these youngsters with their hectic games.

Yes you can. You need to set it up first though.

I just got done playn JCold for the first time today.. WOW, You own bro. We played for about an hour and i dont even think i got a match on you except the time you picked all your scrubs. GG's man, it was fun and i look foward to getting my ass kicked in by you again.

I'll probably enter the MK2 tournament. Blade Tsung was going to play MK2 with me last night but his PC wasnt connecting to the server.Let me know if anyone wants to play. EDIT:(My pc I think has a firewall so I wont be able to play online now untill I get rid of it)
