Indeed.

Kombat, can you please update the link for the right codecs so that I can see video and not just have audio for these movies?

It'd be funny if Kerri named one of her kid's Kobra, and her husband was named Jhonny?
No?
No?

I liked the making of MK3 Video from The Kombat Pavillion but Midway Arcade Treasures 2 has the original making of MK3 Video.

Awesome stuff ]{, I've kept the MK2 commercial on my hardrive now (that girl who plays Kitana is fit
) and the MK3 vid was interesting. Just another reason why the pavillion hosts the best vids; those in this thread, the mkg endings, krsx's combo vid....

Just to let you know it was a joint effort by me and ]{....]{ provided the source to me, and I made it a downloadable avi formated video for the net. If you can't vew the video get the latest divx codec, as thats what it is encoded with.

Still, none of these videos has the footages I saw in the Original Making of MK3 video when they showed it on television (back in '96). This program included:
Some footage from MK2- I remember seeing Scorpion, Rayden and more of Brian Glynn.
Dan Forden operating the software and editing the scream sounds. He and some others were making sound effects- screaming into the mic, dropping and shifting rocks, pouring water, explosion, stomp sounds and all.
There were lots more in that hour special that I can't remember.

Hehe, ok here is the breakdown:
Blockbuster releases "Into Outworld: The Making of MK3" (12 minute version) - Hires for this go through the roof, and Midway decicde to make a 45 Minute version of it for Thanksgiving Day 1995...as far as I know it was only on TV this one time, in 1995. Then MAT2 comes out with more extra's from this video, if you count the time its about 25mins some of it was from the 12minute version, some was from the 45minute version.
So the problem we have is, that no were possible can we get our hands on the 45minute version UNLESS someone out there taped it (please god). I emailed the guy that edited the tape for Midway, Chris...but unfortunatly he can't help me out as Midway still have legal bindings to the full version of this special.
Bottom line, it apears the only way to get the 45minute version, is if someone out there taped it and can provide a copy to me or ]{ it can be made available on the net.

I THINK I SAW THAT . I THINK ITS IN THE SPECIAL FEATURES ON MIDWAY ARCADE TREASURES.
If you cannot view the video, and just hear audio, download DivX @ http://www.divx.com for free. That should fix up some problems
The video gave me some questions. Have all the kombat kodes been found? I heard of one called explosive kombat. Does anyone know what it does, and what the kode is? Also, in the beginning of the video Cyrax does a four hit combo, 22% damage. It was 2 punches, a kick, and a backfist/spinpunch. Does this combo really exist? I can't do it.

Are the "Behind The Scene" flicks available on DVD by any chance?? Would love to have them :D

If anyone wants to see the original MK1 commercial (I know there used to be some demand round these forums for it), it can be downloaded here
You do have to sign up to the site, but it's worth it as there are plenty of other MK vid downloads as well.
Credit goes to |Khaos|, who listed the url in another thread.
