There's a video on the MKDA DVD with some stuff about it, is it the same thing? Things like showing real time editing where the character will land on Sonya's throw?

This is much different than anything on the MKDA disc, it was released to at BlockBusters to promote MK3 a long time ago.

I ripped the MK3 commercial from that video (with TMK's permission), and sent it to ]0MBAT, and he's going to host it soon.
I also converted the MK2 commercial from whatever it is to DivX, and ]0MBAT will also host that.

Very cool. The original arcade commercial I believe only showed the guy getting wheeled in and it stays on his eyes breathing, then it has the dragon logo and shit. Good stuff. I encoded the MK2 commercial in Angel Potion.

That was excellent. Kano's 'can o' cola' had me crackin up. If Tobias came up with all the characters, do you think that is why people had a hard time accepting Bo' Rai'Chi and Nitara?? Or do you think 'new fighters' are always subject to 'i hate them' debates??

I can't see those videos. I downloaded them but they only played audio. Can someone help me with this?

It still doesn't work. The only difference now, is that the audio plays with a green screen and some weird vertical lines appear in there, and you can see only colors moving in those lines (obviously the video that is supposed to play but you can’t see) and the audio playing.

Then I tried to use the program and it played the video but in low quality and all color green. It was difficult to see.

Please help me here.

I went straight to playing MK3 again after watching this video

Very long runtime and some great stuff in there too like the introduction of the MK Team core members (never saw Dave Michicich and Tony Goskie in video before).

Also some interesting new info showed up.
For example did you know before that a considered (code)name for Sektor was Mechanred (check out the notepad of Steve Beran).
You also could see a guy do the Shao Kahn laugh (wish i had that voice

But the coolest things were John Tobias comments and sketches and the Kerri Hoskins footage.








Who doesn't like Kerri Hoskins
Someone should do an interview with her to see how she is after all this time and to ask her what she thinks of MKDA Sonya.
She is and will always be after all a MK icon (the name Sonya Blade will always be associated with Kerri Hoskins,..wheter she actually modeled or not).

This came from an official Blockbusters tape, they rented it out to promote the game.

Yeah, this was pretty awesome. And yes, of course, the footage of Kerri Hoskins was the best part.
Anyway, I understand there's a 30 minute version of this movie as well... I guess no-one around here just happens to know where/how to find it? :)
