For the first time ever???What?
Are you kidding me?Do they not remember that mk1-mk3 already came out on the pc before. And their not saying like ,"for the first time ever play arcade perfect ports of the mk1-mk3 on the pc".And how the hell do you say mk1 in a extra bonus?Bonus should be mk4 or umk3.Their making this out to sound better then it really is.Or wait,of you really wanted to add a bonus add online play for mk1-mk3. You should really pay attendtion there as it stats the other games are arcade perfect but doesn't say the any of the mk games are or arent.

Ok, now if these MK games aren't arcade perfect we know someone at Midway just needs to be fired.
Hell, no netplay? Fire the bastards now.

Scott is sounding more and more like a Midway PR drone.
Friends will be left behind in a cloud of dust in Super Off Road. Racing skills from San Francisco Rush 2049 and Off Road Thunder: Mud, Sweat n' Gears can be used to out-wit and out-drive the bad guys in APB.
LOL!
And yeah, MK has actually actually legitimately been on the PC before- unlike now when it's just being badly emulated and rushed out.

Ah I see that Scott didn't even write it- it was just your average obnoxious press release.
Trust me. Knowing Midway, they'll probably rush Digital Eclipse through the emulations of the MK games, bring us the same crap as usual(just like they did with MAT 2, and on the PSP version), blah, blah, blah, and people will still buy it(I do give them credit for MK2 on MAT2, however.). At least companies like Capcom & Namco were wise not to rush DE through their compilations(Namco Museum:50th anniversary, Battle Collection, and Capcom Classics Collection), and the emulations on their games were flawless(or near flawless at that).

I noticed that it didn't say arcade paerfect ports of the MK games. Why is it that they can't get arcade perfect ports of MK?

Because emulation is cheaper and faster.

I think I'll still get it.

When a game goes Gold, that means it has been shipped to the replication factory for the millions of copies of discs.
Very interesting, let's hope Midway fixed some minor bugs that plagued the MK1 emulation on the Deception bonus disc and the MK2/MK3 emulations on MAT2.

What were these bugs? I've only played that version of mk1once.
In the MK1 emulation, some of the sound effects were low in volume. Plus you can hardly hear the music in the Palace Gates. The MK2 and MK3 emulations had flickering shadows. You can't fight Smoke in MK2 and the music cuts off in the credits. MK3 had muffled music and Kabal's name isn't announced when you choose him. I may have forgotten a few other kinks.

I think that midway should release the ultimate Mortal Kombat compilation. Mortal Kombat games leading all the way up to deadly alliance. All by them selves not with any other games. Guessing it would be nostalgic to play them all in all there glory! Giving that midway doesnt half ass it, and give them the hard work and time they diserve. Now thats my opinion. I think it would be a great idea.
On another note, ive noticed alot of game companies slackin on the work that goes into video games, not really using consoles full possibilities.
