I got one word for you people...MAME. I sometimes wonder if there will every be a perfect version for the home systems.

They just don't care. But guess what, the MAME people do. I have a standup and I have never been happier. They strive for perfection, and there is simply no other way to play them.

Incidently, mapping your PS2 controller to the computer is a cinch. I care about arcade perfect, not some half ass attempt. Stick to the real!

its true that they dont care, thats why it would probably require a petition and some work on the fans part to get them to atleast try.

MAME is the solution to arcade perfectness. So in a way, if you have MAME + the mk roms (all which are 100% free and downloadable off the net by the way), you already own your own "mk collection with perfection". Its not a perfect attempt to recreate the arcade..IT IS THE ARCADE VERSION! it doesnt get any better than that.

But the problem is, MAME wont run mk games well on slow computers. not everyone has a fast computer, and fast computers arent neccessarily cheap. right now, a piece of crap computer costs $300-$400 (you could buy an xbox360 with that kind of money), computers today are still a rip off. I wouldve thought the price would have dropped like the VCR and DVD player prices did after they were out for a while. I guess it dont work that way wit comps.

but one thing pretty much everyone does have is a game console. and this is why It would be great if midway would stop being stupid, and do the intelligent thing by releasing a highquality mk emulation collection disc. I mean, such a move is beneficial for both midway and the fans.

I bought MK Trilogy for PS and I hate it. I bought it band new a few days ago on ebay half.com. I just can't get into it. Everytime I beat the game it freezes. I'm reselling it if anyone is interested. It's brand new and I'm the first to play it.

you need to play it on your play station 1 to see the endings. It glitches up when played on the play station 2.

^Yeah, That's true. I Finally beat MK Trilogy for PS & Played it on my ps2, beat it on master difficulty, then...........................................................................
A blank black screen playing music! I'll never forget that day, when I almost officialy beat the game. Anyway, I agree on bringing a trilogy of classic mk games to home consoles, even though I have MAME & run a very fast PC.

It is the greatest hits version, the front is silver and the back is black.

The reason why i want them back is because i want to do cheats on thme.I dont want to collect mk1 mk2 umk3 trilogy mk4 and gold on diffrent systems. I just bought DA.It sucks.Deception is better.
