Friday, the 6th grade of my school went to Myrtle Beach. First we stopped at the waterline, then my group went to the arcade nearby. I told my friend"I hope they have Mortal Kombat here and I bet its the 4th one, since that was more recent than the rest." I went around looking for any sign of Mortal Kombat, then I went to the other side of the arcade and there I found, "the best MK ever" as other MKers like you all call it, MORTAL KOMBAT 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it? I immediately ragged my mom for some token money(she was one of the teachers going and she's my 5th period teacher) I got 2 dollars, which in tokens is a lot, and that was the only game I played. Only one fatality was used, that was the deadpool fatality, which I thought was cool since I never saw it in the works. But can you believe it? An arcade classic that's 10 years old, still in the arcades? Amazing. If I hadn't seen that, then my favorite thing about going to Myrtle Beach would've been the Medevil Times show. But that was amazing....

I recall seeing MKII in a theater 2 or 3 years ago.

Sigh... I can still remember seeing the kids crowded around MK3, and I was stuck playing as Sub-Zero and Raiden. -_-

I can remember seeing MK3/UMK3 in a theater where I saw the Star Wars Trilogy:Special Edition and probably The Phantom Menace, Frankie's Fun Park, and Cici's Pizza. I thought it was tight. Plus a year ago in the arcade in the mall I saw MK4. I sucked at it of course. Plus when I was a Wee child in another mall in Columbia(where I used to live) and saw in an arcade MK2, but I just saw the story screen.

LOL, I'm just so excited to see the old MK's attempting to get back the title of Arcade king, but with the new releases, with Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Virtua Fighter, it won't suceed, and it was just me who noticed it and took an interest.

I'd play UMK3 all the time in the arcade when I had the chance. I sucked. Then I bought it for the Genesis. And again, I sucked. But then I got better.

Shame the only MK4 I played was Revision 1. I had the chance to play Revision 3, but nooo, "Mommy Dearest" wouldn't let me. Damn you bitch!

No, no... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say that. sad

LOL! The way you talk it makes it sound like my age. Mom didn't care if I played MK in the arcades. Then again, she wasn't around me when I played it. grin

I think the MK3/UMK3 marquee and side art looks even more better than Awesome!!

I kept losing the 2nd match in MK2, but it was funny to see Kano struggle with the chains in Kahn's Arena. It would've been nice to see how tough Kahn was in MK2. Plus, if my friends had been around me when I was playing Cage, I would've impressed them with Cage's Testicle Destroyer(what I call it)!!!!!!!!!!!!! They would've had a ball(pun wasn't intended originally, but now that I think about it, pun intended).

Though I couldn't get to Sonya, because the enemy was in my way. I wish I could've got to her.
