Ahh the summers on the Jersey Shore Boardwalks when every arcade had a good UMK3 machine. It was heaven.

I just liked playing against talkative, interesting players. Not ones that banged the machine and got pissed when they lost, and not ones that went nuts like they won the lottery when they won.

Ahhh....I've been thinking about this too.

Going into this one Columbia theater close to Toys R Us going to watch some movie like power rangers and what other movie came in '95 and seeing MK3 there, with a versus screen in attract mode. Going to Frankie's Fun Park and getting owned by mom with NIGHTWOLF! Same applies for UMK3, I think.
UMK3:
Going to another theater seeing god knows what and seeing UMK3 there in attract mode with bios and stuff. Going to frankie's and prolly getting owned by mom but being fascinated with the marquee. Going to Cici's Pizza and seeing Kitana's bio and all that stuff, but I can't remember if I played it or not. Now I can play all of the MK3 series now that I have a genesis RFU.

Most of my memories came from playing MK1 and MK2, but when I found out that MK3 was out, I walked half way across an amusement park with only one thing coming out of my mouth..."Must play MK3" ^_^ After I played it, I realized that I didn't know any kombos or anything, and the game looked like an MK2 rip-off. Later I found out that MK3 was okay. I really missed Scorpion and others. Whenever I played MK3/UMK3, nobody was playing it because its thunder was stolen by KI2. I only saw people playing it one day...when it just came out. Everybody lined up to play it. I always hate how there's this one dude who knows all of the kodes and kombos before I know anything about the game.

My better MK arcade memory was when I went to Myrtle Beach with the sixth grade on March 28,2003,and we went to the arcade by the beach, I told my friend "I hope they have a Mortal Kombat here, but I bet its no.4, since its most recent."
I was wandering around, and guess what I found? MORTAL KOMBAT 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still play people at MK1, 2, 3, and UMK3...it's called Kaillera. Find a guy named Neo Zeed (Cheese-Unit)...he's real good.

I remember the first time I saw Mk3.I saw my brother made Shao Blow!Then I saw the credits and it looked cool so I challenged him and well....my butt got kicked!

The most wonderfull memorie was doing and seeing the combos, the running thing and of course the improved characters, such as Sonya, Tsung and Sub-Zero.
