Hey. I am an ebayer, I'll be honest. I just found out that MKII for the Playstation 1 system was finally bought, and it sold for $152.50!! wow I was shocked a little, but not a whole lot. But $152.50 for one little CD? Well, I kind of figured out why. It is very, very rare to find, and it was the 1st time I had ever saw it on ebay. Would Japanese game even work in a PS2 from USA? I wasn't too sure, so I didn't sign up to bid on it. What are your guys's thoughts?

A European game will not work on an American ps2 so probably the japanese wouldnt work either, it's a pretty expensive gamble!

Japanese Game != work on US PS2. But there are some gameshark things or something that will probably let it.

I would pay 150 for a copy of MK II for JPN PSX if it had the instructions and case.

If MAT2 wasn't coming out then I would say go for it.

But with MAT2 coming out for $20, I would wait.

Oh I hope they are. With the power that the ps2 and xbox have there is no reason for them not to be.

I just always look at the games that the PSX and Saturn could handle and then look at what PS2 and Xbox can handle and then say to myself,"it's going to be ok".

MAT2 is irrelevant. I want MK II for PSX for collection's sake.

MK II PSX and the Master System MKs are like the only ones I need to own every MK ever. I must get them...no mater the cost.

I wouldn't say it's irrelvant since I was talking to the topic creator and it would save anybody some cash.

But if you need to have every MK game then go for it. Good luck on winning it.

Do you have MKT for Game.com and MK3 for Virtual Boy?
I know a place to get MKT (Game.com).
I might expand my MK collection someday. I'm good for now.

MK3 for Virtual Boy? That one's new to me. I've heard of all the others and have seen extensive lists of Virtual Boy games, but I've never seen an MK for it.

what a list! How much did you pay for the MK1 and the MK2 arcade? I've always want to have one of those.
are you planning to buy MAT2 as well Sakura or to you it's not a collectionnal item?

Wow that is crazy. I never thought anyone liked MK in that kind of way(collector's way).
I just always liked it for a fighting game and the only version I ever needed/wanted was the best version for each game.

I always settled for the best console version. But with MAT2 coming out I will finally have a console version that is hopefully arcade perfect.

But I would still buy any of the arcade versions since I always wanted one, just they are usually too much whenever I see them for just one game.

MK1 was 300. MK2 was 500. Both are the dedicated cabinets(with Cage and Raiden sideart, respectively).

Yeah, I'll get MAT2. For both Xbox and PS2 actually. I'll get any version of MK and I'd say MAT2 counts, even if it's title is not MK.

Plus I want to play it. Even though I own the arcade versions I still enjoy playing different versions. Like I've played the Saturn MK II a lot recently, even though it kinda sucks, just because it's different.

Plus MAT2 has some other cool games.

I see one version of MKII besides the Playstation version, that you do not have, and it too is a very rare find. Mortal Kombat II for the 3DO system was also released in Japan, and appeared on Ebay two years ago when I first started looking for MKII for PS1.

The Japanese MKII version is in all english. No need for instructions. While many of you would buy it for that $$ I find it much easier to burn it and use the PSX exchange cd to boot it.

Well you don't have them all. I don't see the Amiga releases and Master System releases. Also the MK1+MKII Combo for P.C. and Game Boy.

Also I have MKII for PSX. I can get it from a distrubutor from e-bay that finds rare games. I got mine for $50.00, so you guys have fun paying $150+.
