what is the best, quickest way to defeat moloch, i can only seem to defeat him while im playing as sonia. i got close with li mei once too but i just can't beat him

Use fast close range combos with a quiet recovery.

Molochs arms are too big, so it hard for him to react to your attacks when your in his face hitting him. Also make sure the combos don't knock him too much. And absolutly no pop up combos either.

hahah moloch is the easiest to beat with quan chi....when the round starts witch to the wepons...then you cheese him....like so:

hold back...then do compinations or back+square back+triangle...if the attack lands continue on cheesing if molock block you be ready to block his attaCK, right after he attacks press back+triangle again....and repeat...i havent lost one round yet...

I find beating Moloch comes easiest for me when I'm Jax. One thing I've noticed about Moloch is that he can't seem to deal with high/low mix ups. This makes Jax's Tonfa style ideal to use. He is a sucker for High then low attacks just keep repeating and you should win no problem. A bit cheesy I know, but so is Moloch. SO I say use cheese to beat cheese. smile

I find Scorpion to be one of the best against him. Hapkido 2 3 back+1 and forward+3 back+3 are effective combos to use on him. Plus he's too slow to avoid Hellfire if you're at a distance.

here's my technique (the only one that works for me):

I start out with Shang Tsung in his crane style and use his branch combo on Moloch to switch into his sword style. Then I hack away at him with the weapon combos in close range and occasionally get full screen from him and use his 3D fireball while he swipes at the statue things and breaks em.

Jax - Continuosly use the piston punch.

Raiden - Continuously use his staff special/throw thingy. For PS2 it's R1.

Johnny Cage - Just do a bunch of combo's with his nunchucks.

well i did it...using raiden i have now beaten moloch 5 times
