what about virtual fighter 4 v. MKDA? There both great. i like vf4 b/c it is totally different. the controls to that game r different than any fighting game ive ever played. i like MKDA b/c it kicks ass. there so different im not sure if you can really compare them.

The only thing you can compare MKDA to is the other MK games, and a pile of dog shit. dont even try to compare it to tekken, vf4 ect...

Well, if you really want my opp on MK vs. Tekken - LOL - then here goes.

- What game do you see in the major tournies? Tekken. "Well, DA was at TiT!!" Yah, and how many peeps showed up for it?

- Speaking of which, EVO is coming up. More japanese and korean players are coming over for T4 and TT than all the peeps who showed up for DA at TiT.

- DA = no properties system. Extra damage on a CH? Uh, ok, i'll give that one to the public.

- I spend all that time working out leet combos, then some sonya scrub can deal the same damage - prolly more - at 1/6 the effort, staying completely safe? summary? that auto crap is as broken as Jin o_O....wellll, maybe not .

- Granted, DA is not button masher friendlly, but MK never has been.

- I actually like the movement in DA, despite the lack of a standard dash feature which seams to have been present in every game since '95.

- DA has a weak wall system, though adequite, I'm prolly just spoiled by T4's system.

K, so, you say "DA hater!!!!". heh, not really, im just disipointed by something that seams to have soooooo much potential. I could write a fricken essay on what i think is wrong with DA, but nobody would read it, much like this post . Peace and love ya'll.

Soul Calibur is a great fighting game, but I didn't like the way it felt in terms of ambience. However, the fighting was a lot more fluid than Tekken, which is a good thing. However, I think that MK2 for the Sega Genesis is the best fighting game ever made, because it had great graphics, gameplay, characters, storyline, ambience, music, etc.

People call MK simple compared to Tekken and more of a joke. But to me, it just has the fun factor other fighting games don't have IMO. Plus good MK competition is just as good as any other fighting game competition. Tekken is good but MK is just more fun which is why I like it more.
