From the looks of your posts you know nothing (Im not being rude so please dont get offended Ok , lets keep this calm ) about tiers in mk games.

More then one expert player (no, Im no expert) can confirm to you the fact that she was the most powerful fighter in Mk1 (MK2KungBroken). And her special moves are not useless at all, those are some of her strongest points that make her be among the best.

Same for Mk3-MKT, a bomb in power, she is deadlyl!!! You dont know what you are talking about when you say she sucks in that game or that she is the worst of all (or one of the worst). You definitely have no idea about tiers and how Sheeva and Tsung play if you say that.

Sonya is high tier in Mk3. Like someone already posted, she is just deadly. Sweep power, and her special moves are just brutal! She is also very fast. Not the best, yet among the best.

Same in mk4/g, she is strong and fast in with some of the most damaging combos, and top tier in MkDA. There is no way that can be denied. And like I said, MKDA is a very unbalanced game, all top tiers are cheap if you know how to play.

LOL. You guessed that right. I think I heard/read somewhere that said that Boon really liked Jax probably as his second fave character.

Sonya's definitely top tier in MK1, but what the guy might mean is, she's used too much, and other characters might have been able to be developed beyond their current status had she not been so overrated (not true most likely as tiers are tiers).

Scorpion - Though I think hes a bit overrated, he's still an awesome character. I can see why fans like him.

Sonya - Very overrated. Though top tier gameplay wise, she's one of the most boring characters ever with a useless story, and she doesn't even play an important role in the MK universe..........nor does she fit into it at all. Shes definately not the best MK female, though she's the "original" MK female. She's barely done anything store wise, and IMO she's not needed. Worthless character.

Yeah Scorpion is too overrated, I honestly wouldn't care if they left him out of the next game, in fact, I think thats what MK needs, a Scorpionless game. Sub-Zero is also overrated. The most underrated is Tanya by far. I don't get why people don't like her.

if scorp and subbie missed out on mk7, NO-ONE would buy it. it would suck. jax is only in there b/c they needed a black fighter just like sonya is only in mk1 b/c they needed a woman. originally stryker with metal arms was in mk1. mk2 jax was cool. mk3 was gay. mk4 repetitive. mkda, jesus christ, go away. spec forces: godknows what was up with that. mkd, new black guy to satisfy all audiences. Darrius is much cooler. mk7, darrius out. jax in.

Yeah man and if they ever left Guile and Cami and Bison and sagat and Blanka out of a street fighter game that would suck too and nobody would buy it!

Seriously though, not everyone just looks at the stuff, for the people that actually play it, what specific characters are in it are inconsequential.

I personally think Liu Kang is overrated. All because Boon and what's his face likes him doesn't mean he has to be in almost every MK game, and beat the boss in MK 1-4. Nobody likes him! He sounds like a friggin turkey! He's gay, (ever wonder what he's doing with Johnny Cage?) and he's a ripoff of Bruce Lee. OVERATED!!!

Scorpion is the second most overrated next to Liu Kang. He's the Rock of MK. He's the people's MK Champ. Deadly Alliance was the best game he's ever been in, next to UMK3. He is one of the best MK Characters ever, except he's gullible... I mean, Quan Chi said the older Subby killed his family and clan, then when he gets his revenge, QC says the younger subby did it, so he went after him. Gullible and.... OVERRATED!!!

That requires some heavy thinking.In all Mk i'd say Scorpion.I really love that guy but dont think he's that good.Although Subs close.In any case i'd say they have to enhance them with some very powerfull moves (like Sub in Mk Mythologies) and not like the ones in MK DA and MK D.Since they have been in 6, 7 including Mythologies i would say that fans(which supported them through the years) must insist that these two must be the strongest in the game.Besides the one can't do without the other.

Yes, Scorpion is without a doubt the most overrated character of all the games he's been in (which is every MK except regular MK3). He's never been one of my favorates, but I certainly mean no offense to Scorpion fans. He just never appealed to me. I use to say he's not important to the story itself since his story wasn't directly related to the fate of the realms, but I think the guys writing the story realized they needed something to keep him in, so now he's the Champion of the Elder Gods. But other then that, his story was always intangled with personal revenge. However, no one can deny he is one of the staple characters of MK and will live on due to his high popularity.

I know this is the classics board, but among people I know, it would definately be Kenshi. "He's got a cool bandana and a ninja sword, let's worship him!" He's not a bad character, but I get kinda tired of hearing how cool Kenshi is from my MK playing friends.
