I dont know if you call it old school but there is always the Kung Lao infinite of spin, jump kick, spin, jump kick in the corner or spin, jump kick, whiffed dash kick, spin repeat if not in the corner. Thats in MK3, UMK3, and MKT. Also in MKT there is a similar infinite with MK2 Kung Lao but I don't remember if he could do it in MK2 or not.
Also, in MK3 and UMK3, Sindel has a very difficult (and annoying infinite) of pop someone up near the corner, run in, hp, cancel the push back to flight (b,b,f,hk), instantly cancel flight(press block), she does one frame with hands out like she is going to fly then stops and lands without being pushed out of the corner so you can get a HP and then another flight cancel and repeat.
Also, Stryker has an infinite in UMK3 where he can get a popup, gun, dash forward, hp, hp, gun, dash forward, hp, hp, gun, dash forward, and so on until you hit the cornrand then you have to find a way to turn around and head back out.
Also, Shang Tsung has an infinite where you can juggle your opponent around with Ground Eruptions in MK3 and UMK3 becuase the move is almost unlimited.
That stuff plus the Classic Sub inf in UMK3 are what come to mind right now. If I remember others or find others I will post them.

Which version of trilogy? I havent gotten to try out finding things in the PSX version too much but I have seen countless vids of the N64s broken characters. As far as I can tell the PSX is fairly well balanced, more like UMK3 for the arcade, while the N64 version is ridiculously broken with numerous infinites.
